It works pretty well, just gotta be gentle with it
Itβs hard to get it to stay on your mandolin, it keeps falling off when I plug or unplug it, which is highly annoying. But it works well otherwise. Just have to have a super grip to get it tightly on there apparently. Sound quality is 7or8/10.

Easy install
Hardware is top shelf. I was ready with a piece of cork to protect me instrument, but they already had it on the mounts.

Installation issues, 2.5 mm clearance between saddle and bridge base
It appears to be high quality, unfortunately I to return it without useing it. Installation requires 2.5 mm between the bottom of the saddle and the top of the bridge base. I choose not to adjust the action to accommodate the piezo insertion. 3 stars based only on the fact that appears to a quality pickup but I can't speak to the sound quality

GREAT piezo pickup!
I know that those terms (great and piezo) typically do not belong in the same sentence together, but this one is a winner! Easy to install (almost TOO easy), straightforward to operate, and offers good mounting options. Their version of the classic carpenter jack makes so much sense, it's a wonder why everyone doesn't make them that way.As for the sound, although it is a piezo, it does represent a mandolin's tone and vibe very nicely through a PA system, and with very little tweaking of the EQ. This is, hands-down, your very best option for mandolin or any of the mandolin family. HIGHLY recommended!
