Solid duct mate tools
These are solid well made Duct Mate tools. There is a short (about 5-1/4”) and a long (6”) tool in this pack. I have a nicer one that has a magnet and a bigger lip on the end of it. I will use it for most duct fabrication. However, the great thing about these is that they are shorter and fit in tight spots where you need to add a cleat when putting duct fittings together. And having a wrench fitting on the end is nice if you need to tighten up a corner bolt. Definitely worth having in your duct making tool kit if you work with Duct Mate fittings.

These are great!
I work as a tin knocker. I personally prefer using a cleat tool when installing TDC duct instead of using vise grips or channel locks like a lot of people use. I completely understand that people like to utilize their other tools for multiple tasks to keep their pouches less cluttered and lighter, but im the type of guy that prefers using the right tool for the right job. Im used to using the blue ProFab cleat tool which works extremely well, but is fairly large. my brother in law showed me these ones. They work as intended, but since they are so small they fit in your pouch or pocket with ease taking up very little space and weight practically nothing. Definitely a good option if u want a dedicated cleat tool, but dont want to carry around a larger tool. If they had a magnet then they would be perfect.
