Working well so far with a very heavy studio mic
I've had the absolute devil of a time finding a mic stand that works in my home recording studio, because most of the boom arms seem to expect to come from the left, and I need mine to come from the right. This gooseneck solved the problem for me, and so far seems to be standing up very well indeed to the weight of my mic (which could double as a cop's Maglite, if you weren't picky about the "producing light" part of what a cop uses a Maglite for, if you catch my drift).Time will tell how long it holds up, but as inexpensive as these are, I wouldn't be all that mad if I needed to buy another one every year or two.

Sturdy
This base would hold very well to a flat surface.I bought this for the goose neck and swapped the base out. I use it to connect my mic to a Manhasset music stand. The neck is nice and stiff and holds the mic in place. I would buy again.

Rigid, well built
Love this, it stays where you put it, the anchoring system is designed perfectly, would buy again but this one will last forever

Not Very Flexible Gooseneck, Clamp & Clip Are Good
I'm continually looking for a flexible microphone gooseneck that will stay where it's put and at the same time is flexible and easy to position. Well, I'll keep looking for one with better flexibility. This one is okay but a little stiff and hard to position exactly. The clamp is strong enough to hold on to a wood type desk. The mic clip is well constructed and holds a Shure sm58 perfectly. I like that it has a screw adapter. Four stiff stars from me!

Be aware
I purchased this stand with the intention of using it as a podium stand. I own other flexible gooseneck stands and microphones, but unfortunately, this one is not very flexible. Adjusting its height or position is difficult, and the clamp struggles to keep it in place. Despite attempting to add rubber washers to stabilize the clamp, it still didn't work well. While it may suffice if you plan to keep it stationary, it's not suitable for accommodating different people's needs due to its lack of flexibility.

Works good but might not support a heavy microphone
Works good for normal microphone. But doesn’t want to support my OLD wireless microphone that is very heavy compared to modern microphones.

Works great
I have no qualms about this. Works as expected.

Not as strong as it needs to be
Claims to hold 2.2 lbs but it's struggling to hold much less than that. I have to twist it in a particular way just to hold up an SM57 mic and even then it keeps drooping to the ground.
