New? Mine looked to be a returned item sent.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Looked new but package was not. Seal was ripped and inner box appeared damaged. Looked like a returned item sent out, but it fit my rice cooker and seemed clean. Not sure if it was supposed to have padding, but think it should have.
