Bags of charm...although a little repetitive
Great game. Excellent story, lovely presentation (game board and figures), kid-friendly too. Only downside is that the rule book is a little hard to follow but there are some great video tutorials (including one on the official site) so that helped. Combat is also a little repetitive, but this is a game full of charm as well as being excellent value.

Great for new gamers and those unsure on the ways of board games
Perfect game to get my partner into board gaming, tried the Pandemic series and the rules were a little too complex. This game is designed for children and those new to board games, easy to get into and who doesn’t want to play as a mouse. We are 4 chapters into the campaign, it’s fun, it can be tricky sometimes especially when the dice gods are against you but we come back to it again and again.Definitely worth a buy, oh and you have to paint the minis, they are just asking for it.

Fantastic game!!
I play this with my 5 year old and she loves it!A very well written story lead game that at the end of each chapter leaves you wanting to play more.Excellent models are included which are just crying out to be painted, which isn't something I do very often but think will definately add to the experience.Very well made, thick, double sided boards that are very atmospheric to play on.The cards are ok, standard card stock rather than a high quality linen finish so I would advise card sleeves if you qre going to be playing this alot.I've not finished the campaign yet but really looking forward to it, then I'll just need to rush out and buy the expansions!A great game that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.

Great for many group sizes, especially 2 players.
Playing this with my girlfriend and having a great time. Watch the Watch It Played videos that are linked on Plaid Hat Games website (you don't need to watch all of it, just a couple of episodes) and read the rulebook and you're good to go! Well worth the hour or so investment to learn how to play it properly and one player can easily pass their knowledge on to others. The box feels lovely and weighty but isn't excessively sized for the contents, which are absolutely gorgeous in design. You also get to paint the figures if you want.Simple mechanics for gaming newcomers, the game suits 2 players just great. Haven't tried it with any other amount but 1-3 should work perfectly well. 4 players would be fine apart from 1 chapter in the (rather long) story book. You'll get many hours out of this!

Haven't played too much, but looks to be a lot in it.
Seems like a lot of scenarios and story to play through. I got this to play with my kids, but they might find the story a bit boring. The gameplay is easy enough once you do a test play first. It's really fun and we all find it rewarding working together. The only thing is the box was slightly damaged and I know it's not going to impact it anyway. Still disappointing to open as the amazon box was intact.

Great game
This is an amazing adventure for all family, we played with our kids , 10 and 8, during the lockdown and we have a long campaign along the 11 chapters. The narrative is very catching and the miniature are really great and easy to paint. I will suggest anyway to add some house rule to easy the adventure a bit and reduce the dice rolling "curse" that usually affect my son

Great game wonderful artwork
Great game wonderful artwork. Two parts of the game came damaged however. Waiting to see whether they will replace them or not.

Enjoyable and fun!
One of the best board games, I've played. I bought this for my 5 yo son, we play with him and my wife, and we all love it! The story is exciting, and the gameplay is involving. Quite easy to start.I am not a geek though, so tried just a few (Monopoly, Cluedo, WoW, Ticket to Ride, Spot It, Geistes, party board games). I believe people who play D&D, WoW, etc. will find it too simple, but if you like fairytales and roleplay, you still could enjoy.
