To big for my vehicle not enough room for the installation

technically, this did fit my 1998 Jeep Wrangler TJ. While it does cool my engine and isn't leaking in it's first two weeks, I do have some complaints. The manufacturer used a saw to cut the bracket at one end of the rad where A/C lines pass through and it's quite a hack jab. Looks terrible and they didn't file it so the edge of the cuts are SHARP, but it doesn't show so technically it doesn't matter. Also, the mounting holes (rivnuts) for the fan shroud are different from any other radiator I've had in this Jeep over the years, so I had to scrounge up different bolts to install the shroud, plus the hole alignment was slightly off and I had to ream out the holes on my plastic shroud to accomodate, so check that first before you install the rad in the vehicle. FYI, they are the same thread as the bolts that mount the radiator itself to the grille, so that's a plus. Other than those two minor complaints, seems like a good radiator. I like that it's all aluminum and that the valve cock is good quality and easy on/off when draining and refilling. Item was well packaged and arrived on time.

Installed and looked good but started leaking when the temp valve opened up. Had to remove and order another one.

If you aren't using the original shroud (I didn't reinstall mine) you'll need Flex-A-Lite Coolant Reservoir Bracket - 30928

The good: seems well made and cools well. The holes line up for the radiators mounting brackets well & if you remember to tighten the trans cooler fittings then I found no leaks after installation.The bad: the radiator sits lower than shown in the picture of the 2004 tj so when removing the radiator cap it hit the a/c condenser. The radiator cap was hard to turn and didn't seat centered on the rubber seal. As others mentioned I had to use new hardware for the fan shroud and realign the holes in it. Also the fittings for the trans cooler had 1 that was slightly larger and 1 slightly smaller than the two brass stock that are of equal size so I was unable to use the original clamp on the smaller fitting.

This radiator dropped right into a Jeep Wrangler 2004 TJ. Perfect fit, no mods needed. It looks great and runs cool.

Everything lines up from radiator to the supports on my tj.The fan cover that goes on the back however did not line up. I just drilled out the existing holes on the fan cover and was able get the screws in.I think that some people go with electric fans which would potentially make this not a problem. But from what research I did, electric fans do not do well with the tj.So if you are ok with drilling your plastic fan cover this seems to be a good deal. We will see how long it last.

This radiator was faulty and after spending many hours trying to put it in and the instructions and diagram aren’t included unless you contact the seller. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER.

Lo instale 02/12/23. Los orificios superiores coinciden sin problema. Los inferiores hay que perforarlos. La cubierta de las aspas coinciden los orificios de arriba pero abajo no. En general bien. Muy bonito. A ver cuanto aguanta. Llenado solo con anticongelante. Saludos.
