to honest the cat s22 i have using to stream music for about 9 ish hours of the day. thee battery may last til the end of the shift but I'm inconsistent when listening to music to hear somebody to talk me. any way great extension for a 60$ phone

terrible battery, shuts off phone at 50%, only lasts a day on standby, MUCH less capacity than the stock battery. don't be fooled like I was, BUYER BEWARE!!

"What is that?" 3 times now I've had young children and a couple of adults ask me what that is. When I tell them it's a phone, the adults get a nostalgic look in their eye, while the children look at me confused. I opened it up and show them that it is indeed a phone and not some weird MP3 player. Both the children and adults are amazed that someone carries a flip phone these days. I am fairly tech savvy, I have owned more than my share of phones and computers, even going so far is to play around loading different operating systems on both. This phone is not just a regular flip phone, it does everything that any of my smartphones could do, well almost. The only difference is you really don't want to do it on this phone. Let me explain. While becoming frustrated with how technology doesn't seem to work as promised, and always being hounded by beeps and buzzes and feeling like I had to be connected to the world 24/7, I knew I needed a way out. like Frodo trying to unburden himself from carrying the ring I knew I had to find a way to untech my life. This phone has helped me do that. Like I said before, it'll do just about everything I needed to do. There are things it doesn't excel at, mostly everything. It's slower than a Toyota Yaris running on two cylinders,the battery life is about as long as the cheapest Dollar store batteries you can buy, and you almost need a magnifying glass to see the screen. That said this is just about my favorite phone I've ever owned. Why you may ask? It's like going your whole life owning luxury vehicles and a few sports cars, after a while the expensive repair bills and constant threat of damage to your precious hunk of technology becomes a little too burdensome. Sometimes you just wish for a simpler time, but not Amish simple. If this sounds like you this is your phone. Imagine trading in your luxury vehicle or sports car and buying an old Ford truck. You want to take that thing in some water? You're good to go. You want to get it muddy? Not a problem. You want to kick it like a protester blocking your commute to work? It'll just smile at you and laugh. This thing is the killdozer of phones. Yep it's slow and won't do anything fast, but it is tough as an anvil. No more worrying about dropping your phone, in fact you can huck it full force at annoying people and it'll still work the same as before it took flight. Texting on the toilet? Don't pretend you don't. This thing will take a bath in the porcelain pool and never miss a beat. If it gets dirty, you can wash that thing off with some Dawn dish soap in the sink like a duck coated with oil from a container spill. This thing is like the 50 Cent of phones, you can pump a couple of rounds into it and it won't die. If technology has become more addictive to you than heroin, you want this phone. This phone is your methadone. The addiction is still there, but it's not gnawing that you all the time. You'll find yourself not really wanting to respond to text messages, check your email, forget facebook, don't try to even watch a YouTube video on it. While it can do all these things it will do them so poorly you will just lose interest. If this sounds like you you need the Cat S22. If this thing died on me tomorrow, I would get another one, but it probably won't. It's like being immortal, but you're 80 years old the whole time. Don't be afraid to be the social outcast, don't buy the lie that you have to keep in touch with everyone 24/7. If you grew up listening to the bloodhound gang and booze cruising on dirt roads, outrun the cops on an ATV, have swallowed chewing tobacco spit, shop at Walmart at 11:00 p.m. so you don't see anybody you know, if you like Mr Bean, peed on an electric fence, if you own a Mastiff, mistakenly have bought a bag of oregano thinking it was something else, have drifted a car with an e-brake or try to Dukes of Hazzard jump a car, watched a lot of MacGyver as a child, like to play hockey but have no puck, or if you have ever used a bulldozer, you need this phone.

Worth the upgrade!

I ordered a new battery for this s22 flip phone because the original battery did not last long. So I get the new one that's supposed to be better last longer, but guess what it's no better than the one that was in it. I've got more money tied up in this new unlock cat flip phone that is not unlocked it will not unlock but I'm on T-Mobile anyway but I've got more money in this phone then if I would have went and bought a new large screen smartphone!!!

The battery is a perfect fit for the CAT S22 Flip. No issues charging it, and it does seem to last a little longer than the stock battery. The only weirdness I've noticed is a plateau around 98-100%. I'm not sure if it's the battery or if the phone's software/firmware is calibrated for the stock 2,000 mAh battery, but it seems like it takes forever for it to charge past 98%. When it does charge fully, it seems to drop quickly to 98% and linger there for a good while and then deplete normally. It's really a gamble with any aftermarket battery, but other than the weird plateau at 98%, it seems to be working well.
