Very good functioning safe to use. Very Less noise that too we can hear when we are really near to the motor. Pressure level also good. Amazon never disappointed me.

Aluminium winding instead of Copper. Pump gets stuck almost every time you start.
It took me time to get the pump fitted to the well as i was not well, way past the replacement window. I bought this pump thinking it is a steal for the price, knowing Crompton Greaves as a reliable company. WHen the pump was fitted, it was stuck and needed a jerk on the fan. This i thought was the initial pangs, later to realize this was a daily ordeal. The pump pressure is great. Finally one day the pump stopped pumping water and was taken to the local mechanic. It was found that the connection to the winding core. It had aluminium winding instead of copper which is BAD. Ive asked to rewind the machine and im gonna rewind it with copper and keep it to tell Crompton's story.

Best for single plots. Not for flats.
The pump works well for buildings with 1-2 stories, but in a 4-story building, it only performs effectively when others' motors are off. It struggles to pump water when other motors are running. My suggestion is to opt for a larger version.

Awesome product
Initially I was used to a 0.5 HP of same model in my house construction of ground floor from a 1.5 " borewell with 100 feet delivery lid. It failed supply to 1st floor, hence I had purchased this 1 HP model & found good pressure of flow at 30 'hight.
