The 4FRNT Blondie lets you take your skills mountain-wide whilst giving you the confidence to try new things and step up your game. Flexing slightly softer than mid-flex, they're ideal for progressing skiers who want a more responsive freestyle ski which isn't limited to park laps or dome nights. Built around 4FRNT's Hyper-Lite core; comprised of poplar and beech woods to make the ski poppy and lightweight, while still retaining plenty of power to drive the skis in softer snow conditions. This is then layered with directional fibreglass laminates on the top and bottom which help to give the core a consistent and even flex pattern, whilst also directing power input towards the edges of the ski for increased response and sustained edge hold. The Blondie also features a women's specific ContourCore construction. Female skiers tend to drive a ski from their hips which generates forces down through their heels. With ContourCore, 4FRNT move the weight of the core backwards by 5cm to accommodate a more centred skiing style. This lets women drive the true centre of the core instead of constantly fighting it from behind, while still being centred over the side cut. The topsheet is bonded to the core using cap construction. This method of pressing folds the topsheet over the top and sides of the ski before fusing them to the edges. This reduces the instances of topsheet delamination and unsightly chips while also helping to bolster the edges against side impacts from rails, rocks, trees and unseen threats. The super-tough Extruded Carbon base provides durable, impact resistant performance which lasts significantly longer between services than sintered bases.
