Perfect replacement element for my cooker

The part from Amazon was a very good price, came on time and was the correct part. It was all so easy. Thank you.

If you watch the videos on Youtube you'll see replacing this part is easy. What they don't show you is replacing this part on a 10 year old well used oven. Its an easy job provided the 7 screws you need to remove come out easily. However on an older stove these screws maybe rusted in place. If they aren't its going to be a very easy job. I needed to use a combination of techniques to get the old screws out, several came out when gripped with a pair of long nosed mole grips and the others with a screwdriver fitted to a 1/4 inch socket set. I needed to clean out the rusted screw heads before attempting to use a bit on them. I might have made it more difficult for myself as I didn't bother removing the oven door as I could reach in to do the work with it in place. Once removed the original screws where so rusted as to have next to no thread left on them so I needed some replacements. I ordered https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09993X65 "220 Pcs Self Tapping Screws M3 M4 M5 Pan Head Screws Stainless Steel Countersunk Screws with Box Assortment Kit" at the same time as this element and that set had suitable screws for the job. What you need are M4 x 10mm screws for the element and while the original screws were M4 for the cover the holes were a little rusted to I replaced them with "fatter" M5 x 15 screws.

My Indesit ID60C2(M) fan oven suddenly stopped heating up; not what you need with Christmas coming! The element had burned out. I spotted this element while searching for a replacement. This is a perfect fit, and very easy to install. It took about 10 minutes to fit it, including removing the old one. The oven heats up really quickly now. Ordered with a replacement bulb while i was at it; arrived same day.

Element functions as it should, however even after matching my oven's model number to the list of Indesit cookers that this items listing suggested it should fit, I found the top mounting holes to be roughly 4mm out. Even given the issue it still fixed securely enough using the two remaining mounting points (top left and the base) and it works as it should once fully fitted.

Works well and have bought 2 of these as one is a spare. It has lasyed 2 years now and still going strong.

The element was very easy to fit, total time to remove old and fit new approx 15 mins. Excellent product and first class delivery time.

Good price, easy to fit pleased with purchase. One thing to look out for the element has the capability to fit an earth in the centre of the connections but on my Indesit cooker there was no earth connection. It threw me a little to start with as when i took the connections off the old element i could only see two connections and i thought i might have pulled one off at the rear so to be sure i had to take the whole oven out to satisfy myself that i had not missed a connection. I had not missed anything and there are only two connections on my model. All works very well. Would recommend.
