Q: ive go 4ft concrete posts with 3ft fence panels. want to replace the 3ft panels with 5ft. if i fit these to the posts will i be ok to slot the 5ft

No they are for extending the wooden panels not the concrete post as you cannot fix them into the concrete

NO I ONLY USED 300MM THE REST OF THE BARS IN THE POST FOR STABILTY

I ONLY USED THESE TO PUT 300MM X CROSS TRELLIS OR WICKER THEY SLIDE DOWN EXISTING POST FIT PEFECT IN THE GROOVE I HAD A 600M TREATED TIMBER TO FIT BETWEEN EACH PAIR THERE NOT FOR 600MM

Q: What type of screws (length & diameter) should be used to attach a trellis to the arms? Are anti-corrosion outdoor screws required?

I just used a 3.5mm x 30mm exterior screw for each bracket. I wasn’t bothered about the look of the screw as I over clad each wooden post with a full height 2.4m vertical section of pressure treated 125mm wide timber. This bridges the gap at the top where your post is not long enough. This covered the face of the existing 1.8m post and the extended 600mm bracket and trellis sections. Hope this helps 👍🏼
