The way I used this container is to hold hot water made with gas stove hot pot. This 20oz container is easy to pour with good control to the coffee ground inside the Aeropress coffee maker or regular pour over style filter system. I don’t have a gooseneck style hot water pot so this is a work around for what I have… It is a nice sturdy container to receive the finish coffee brew pushed through using the Aeropress coffee maker. It also worked well with the reusable ceramic coffee filter as well .. It is pricey container and one can always find a substitute cup or vessel around the kitchen cabinets. But if you want a genuine Aeropress accessory made in USA, you will love it. It is also a nice storage to hold the bottom part of the Aeropress coffee maker along with the stirrer. Easy to clean and good looking container. Using a paper towel to wipe down after cleaning will keep it new :-) I bought this container in a bundle deal along with a clear Aeropress coffee maker for a total of $70 which is a good saving of $5 for the container :-)

I have been an AeroPress fan for years and use it literally every day. Pressing directly into a coffee mug limits my choice of mugs. Since I like the more delicate double wall glass cups, this carafe allows me to safely press into the carafe and pour my coffee into any cup/mug without worry. I also like how clear the carafe has stayed despite daily use.

this great carafe has taken away the fear of breaking a china espresso cup. I like that I can make 2 brews in a row in it Easy to clean and very useful!

I've been an Aeropress user for nearly 20 years, and one of my only complaints was the frequent overspill where the coffee would leak over the sides of my mug while pressing. I had hoped this would be the solution, and while it is better, it still happens occasionally if I use too much force. The acrylic also feels kind of cheap and stains easily.

This carafe is legit! This is exactly the item I needed to complete my Aeropress, for both home and travel. The carafe is made from a shatterproof acrylic. It isn't glass, which I did not want in this instance. The package states its capacity is about 20 oz. It will probably hold 8 full servings or two complete plunges from the Aeropress. It is made with the exact dimensions to rest underneath your Aeropress. It doesn't matter the orientation of the Aeropress; it will not fall inside the carafe. The acrylic is strong enough to hold the Aeropress while the plunger is pressed. It is also great for travel purposes, and the Aeropress rests nicely inside the carafe *IF* you invert the plunger and insert it from the bottom. It fits in my Aeropress travel bag very well. My travel bag is full, and the only other thing that might fit in my bag (along with all my Aeropress implements, including the funnel), is a small coffee grinder if it fits inside the Aeropress itself. (There are a few grinders out there that will fit.) I have included photos to show how I have nested the Aeropress inside the carafe, how it looks with my kitchen setup, and how it fits inside my Aeropress travel bag. Enjoy!

The first time I used an aeropress, I used a glass pot to pour, while I was pushing the aeroprees and pressing down, I was so afraid that the glass could brake, so now that I have this beauty Iam not afraid at all, plus it looks great with the brewer.

It's nice, strong and stylish but the max capacity to the spout is barely 500ml and you have to be careful of spilling, so I guess the comfortable/safe capacity is under 460ml. It algo gets very hot and doesnt have a handle so you have to wait some time to serve. I guess its made with the classic aeropress users in mind, who brew with darker roasts and lower temperature under 80°C, not for specialty coffee fans. Material gets stained easily so you have to clean it VERY WELL after each use or you'll get a permanent brownish carafe. I like it but it's not what I expected.

It's A good fit. Sturdy, holds several cups of coffee. Time will tell about how durable it is, but so far we are pleased.

It does the job but for this price, the material is very cheap. I can understand a price point of 400-500 for this but for an unbranded item of this material
