Clear Museum Gel Adhesive For Glass,Crystal, Delicates

Wasn’t expecting this to be as good as it is! Stops vases and ornaments getting knocked over on windowsill by dog!

Very useful and done what it describes

I was recommended this by an artist that I had bought a sculpture from. It doesn't mark painted surfaces or wood surfaces when using to secure and place a sculpture or ornament on, as blue tack does. It sticks securely between the sculpture or ornament on surfaces, and makes it knock proof. I don't have pets but I would imagine that it is pet proof and it is volcano proof ( we don't have those in North Yorkshire either) ! I do have some antique ornaments though and have used it for them. I would highly recommend this product.

Brilliant, I started with the glass my cat likes to knock over, and he can't move it.

After buying the product for positioning my priceless treasures - jewellery (for photography work), I received the product and was then able to read the small print included which states: 1) Base of objects must be in proportion to height and weight. Having tried the product, I can say it is unsuitable for the task I had intended. This product will not work for positioning jewellery, as jewellery rarely, if ever, has a base that is 'in proportion to height and weight'. Whilst you could say 'Museum Gel' it is designed for glass and crystal, the products holding characteristics are very limited to wide flat areas only. And not jewellery, nor I suspect glass and crystal, or any material, unless the item has a sufficiently large surface area relative to height. Live and learn.

Used for animation and it worked really well to recreate liquid. It keeps moving to you need to use it quickly

La adherencia que tiene este producto es espectacular. Lo hemos comprado porque tenemos gatos y bastantes figuritas y jarrones por toda la casa, así que al buscar una opción para prevenir accidentes, nos ha aparecido esta masilla. Es un gel transparente, no es pegajoso a la hora de manipularlo, y basta una cantidad pequeña para fijar objetos bastante pesados. Lo hemos usado con algunos floreros y decoraciones, y nos ha sorprendido su eficacia. Puede parecer caro, pero merece muchísimo la pena por lo práctico y util que es y la cantidad pequeña que se necesita incluso para objetos grandes.
