Just REMOVE the black piece, and the cup is honestly perfect for little hands, the button so so easy for them to push themselves!!!This item is great, it's leak free and the handle on the top is perfect for hands to grab whenever home or on the go. **HOWEVER I bought this for my almost 2 year old boys, and the black piece that covers the straw whenever folded, is most definitely a choking hazard since it can be popped off fairly easy... My son had popped off the piece earlier today, and was seconds away from putting it in his mouth. Just wanted to warn other parents that may look at these cups for their toddlers!!!**

If your kid is old enough to open and close their water bottle (and consistently do so) this is a great option. The straw can never just fall out (unlike some other brands) and it’s simple to use - put together. Everything being dishwasher safe is all nice for cleaning. It’s a good size for trips to the park or places you can refill. Not big enough for an all day hike, but I don’t think any kid’s water bottle is big enough for that.Does not leak if closed but will leak if the spout is open. I wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for a water bottle to leave in their bed or if you kid is too young to easily open and close it.

Got these for a child transitioning from baby bottles. Awesome. They don’t leak, and if they are filled to the top, my child can even drink from them while lying down because of the straw placement. I love that it’s easy to clean and the straw stays attached even when everything is unscrewed abs popped open for cleaning. Great design. I would like to see this available in stainless steel.

Great kids' bottles. It's my son's water bottle. I wash it in the top dishwasher drawer and it cleans great. Easy to open/close all the parts to clean everything. my son has 8 of these bottles already :)

I love these water bottles and it seems they’ve discontinued them I can’t find them in any store I go to just different styles of them. These however are great, they are legit spill proof which most water bottles say they are but still leak. My daughter has 2 and she’s had them for at least a couple years with no problems. Easy to clean as parts disassemble and are dishwasher safe.
