Best Blogger and Conference Call Camera and Microphone In The Marketplace.
After buying and using the Marantz Professional AVS for about 6 months, I made the decision to upgrade to this unit. There is no better video camera / mic / light combo in the world. Your PC mic and camera let you down time and time again. This device is easy to setup. It's SUPER EASY to use with buttons to mute and unmute / turn on video / turn off video . It has a brightness control for a built in light with 2 skin and blue filters. The Microphone has a boom and a speaker built in. It even has 2 USBs in the back that charge and you can plug headphones into it. This is a professional quality product at a consumer price.

Fantastic 🎤 working great for video & broadcasting
Great all in one device. I have started broadcasting for work, while also do some video production. The device is bulky, but the microphone is fantastic.Overall a very good semi professional rig, works fantastic, simple to use & great result. It would be even better with a few mor guides & software screenomatic or loom.

Horrible Product
Totally non-functional when received. was suppose to be my sons streaming/content creating dream, and primary christmas present. Cables for power and video are similar in quality to generic gas station phone chargers (they may work correctly once or twice, maybe not). I would think its such a simple concept, simple enough device, that no way it could b delivered unusable, but I thought wrong. I was out of the country after receiving, and didn't get back in time to return it. Still new in the original box in my room. I have no idea what to do with this massive paperweight. Kid still not streaming :(

Great purchase - solid build
Simple to set upHigh-quality build and componentsVideo quality is very very good - certainly mid to high level quality in image and soundbase takes up SOME room on my desk but not a lot and it is weighted somewhat - that is a plus, it is not going to tip over from being top heavyGlad I made the purchase

Does Two Out of Three Things Well
I purchased this product for the purpose of conducting remote court appearances. I wanted something which would appear professional, and having some background in television, I thought it checked the boxes--the ring light would help with my office, which from a video lighting perspective, is a nightmare. The mic works pretty well, and you can put it in our out of your shot and folks will know you have a badass mic. It has some nice audio balancing features, and as a Marantz product, I think their folks know how to make something pretty and they know how to do audio. The video aspect of this product is its Achilles Heel. Even with the light up on max, the shot appeared to be poorly lit and there was a lot of noise, i.e., graininess, in the shot. Occasionally, there would be a dropped frame where it would just be noise on the screen. I received shipment of a competitor's camera today, and I won't name names, but it was another company's top-of-the-line product, and it simply blows this product away in terms of quality which is disappointing because webcams seem to not have advanced since 2008 or so.I thought I'd be more a fan of the turret aspect of things, but it wouldn't fit between my monitors and was just short enough that I couldn't just set it behind the monitors. And as much as the practice of law is theatrical, with the turret setting out to the right, to connect with the Court, I made a practice of looking directly into the camera (with the ring light glaring me back in the face) and was deprived of being able to really pay attention to the other parties' and court's non-verbal cues on the video, so it made it a smidge harder to read the room.

An all-in-one solution for video scaredy cats! Great with Camtasia! NEW! UPDATE!
I'm a corporate video producer and we have about a dozen experts on staff who create webinars, video lessons and other media using the Marantz Turret. They're nice nice people, but are resistant to putting forth the effort to create a high-quality result. If I hear "The computer camera & mic are good enough" or "I don't have time to set this stuff up" again, I'm gonna scream!I got this so there would be no more excuses for tinny sound and dark, grainy video. Now, the video is much cleaner, the sound is like a radio host and the overall result is far more high-quality than before. We also use it with Camtasia (to explain software & website features) and the resulting production is amazing!I did have to deal with a few human factors, though, like proper mic technique (keep it close!) and establishing a complimentary lighting look without me around to do it. These are training issues, not the fault of the product.PROS:- Far better video & audio quality than the low-bidder standard laptop mic and camera.- The ring light helps a ton to remove Raccoon eyes- Sound is marvelous, when mic is used correctly- plug-n-play is easy to set up and use- Well built/ quality productCONS:- Takes up substantial desk real estate (big base)- Mic arm only moves in/out, NOT up/down at all- Extra USB plugs on the back have low amps (.75 amps), not good for charging- Ring light at 100% causes hot spots on faces, adjust accordinglyNEUTRAL:- Newbies need to learn good mic technique for optimum audio results- Light can distract/blind presenters- Can be awkward to store or ship- Not everyone has an extra USB-C to USB-A cable (one is included in the box)UPDATE: One of the three Turrets we purchased started to display a video glitch from the camera a couple of weeks ago. The image blinks in and out every 4-5 seconds. All attempts at contacting Marantz Customer Service have gone unanswered (except for a Bot, promising a reply in 24-72 hours) , including email, twitter and the Marantz corporate message system. I might as well not have tried. As a result, I'm deducting a star for a camera I can no longer use. Too bad- it worked well until now.

Mostly great, with a couple quirks.
The tower works well. My two design frustrations are:The "off" buttons don't really turn the camera and the microphone off. Some apps will show what the camera sees even when it's off. You have to unplug the whole tower to be safe. The camera has no height adjustment, so the large microphone is almost always in view of the camera. It would be perfect if the mic had a vertical hinge as well.
