Free Motion Quilting Ruler and Templates Set - Non-Slip Grips (Series C)

I have used these on many quilts and they look great and easy to use.

I have a small machine and these are narrow enough to fit. My machine does not fit a ruler foot needed to use with the templates

I have not tried them yet. Was expecting how to use them instructions.

My pictures are from the first quilt I successfully longarmed with a ruler template. Pretty easy to maneuver my machine through. Learning where and when to place and move your fingers took me a few rows. Rubber stickers are awesome. Can’t wait to quilt more!

My wife is a bit of pro when it comes to quilting and owns a long arm quilting machine. Unfortunately, these templates are not designed or efficient to use with this type of quilter since they have to be flipped to repeat the pattern. These templates are for use with a standard home sewing machine and for this, they work quite well. You will need a round 1/4 inch quilting presser foot, to move easily around the template. (You can find these cheap enough right here on Amazon.This set comes with six different templates all of them with nice looking patterns. These could be used with a long arm sewing machine if you used the templates to trace the pattern onto a full length piece of paper. They also come with rubberized sticky feet that you can stick to the bottom to help keep tehm from slipping around as you sew.Be sure to peel the frosted film off both sides to be able to see the fabric design better when placing the template.Overall, this is an inexpensive set of sewing machine patterns that should enhance any quilting design. For the cost, I'd give them 5 stars.

These quilting templates are for use on a home machine, not so much a longarm quilting machine. You'll need a ruler foot to make this work. The templates are thick enough so you can just follow the edge of the design and keep going. There are 6 designs to select from. Like any other new skill, learning takes time and practice. Be sure to learn on scrap material first until you feel confident to quilt your top. The end result will be worth your time and effort!

This has been a fun addition to my quilting stencils and makes for easy use with both my long arm quilt machine and my domestic sewing machine. It’s easy to swivel the stencil around to continue the pattern and takes the guessing and/or tracing out of the equation when trying to plan the quilting portion of my project. I also appreciate its smaller footprint and how easy it makes it to move it about. The acrylic is sturdy and has held up nicely; I’ll be considering the other pattern options for this stencil in the future.
