Leather Girth Extender

My mare had added some pounds after the birth of her foal. This helped extend the girth so we could ride!

I needed this for an out-of-shape horse that I started riding. It works very well. The other reviews are correct that the billet holes are fairly tight, so it takes a little work to get it all together on the first couple of tries. I bet that oiling it would help.

Works great!!!!!! Great to keep around the barn.

Three stars since it does the job but it's questionable if this real leather. I've used it for several months and it's still stiff and inflexible as a board so I can only assume it's some kind of leather "alternative". It's a struggle to get the girth buckle through the holes. Think I'm going to spend the money for a longer girth that fits instead of looking for a higher quality extender.

This extender saved me from buying a new girth. It is very comfortable and does not interfere with my leg as I was afraid it would.

Feels funny. Not my favorite Girth Extender to tell the truth. Serves it's purpose.
