The Matt I've missed all these years
Being able to see this movie it was really refreshing to hear sounds akin to what I enjoyed most about 80's the The. I feel like I'm stepping back into the places where Burning Blue Soul took root. I find MJ as a soundtrack artist to be every bit if not more enjoyable to anything I've owned/heard by Brian Eno. Seeing the The several times in concert it's crazy to think he's always had this amazing untapped ability to do movie soundtracks but chose alternative rock. Sort of a clue why he gave that up in 2002 because this soundtrack goes back to his origins. "Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven (But Nobody Wants to Die)" is very inspiring and meditative. Lots of upbeat follow the intrigue tracks like "Blue Eyes".The packaging is quite fantastic. A miniature hard back book with 84 glossy photo pages and a thick insert for the disc. Honestly, I would die to have remastered rarities like 'Spirits' and 'Pornography of Despair' in this same format.

Dark and creepy soundtrack by The The.
Dark and creepy soundtrack by The The. Not very melodic until the finale but a sinister sound I'm sure enhanced the movie
