Battery stopped charging after 5 months
I was using a $10 gdealer scale from amazon for 5 years and decided to look into smart scales for my espresso needs, so i bought this scale. It’s a nice small size. Never ended up using the smart features because i found them fairly unintuitive.About 3 months ago i noticed that the battery indicator never reached full, even after a full night of charging. Last week the device stopped working and so i assumed the battery ran out. Turns out it just straight up died and won’t charge anymore.

Perfect.
For the money, this is a solid buy. It is just so easy to use. It even works with wet hands which is one of the gripes I had with the Hario scale. Also, if you’re planning on using this with the Hario decanter V60, the decanter does not really fit completely on the scale although that’s on me for not doing my research. For espresso or smaller containers, this is great. Easy to tuck away in a drawer and even fits in a pocket if you really need that.

Purchase!
The media could not be loaded. Good quality. For someone starting into the expresso game…Not easy to use at first. The directions were not clear when setting up the time with the weight settings and I noticed that no one had uploaded a video on how to do it. For in my case I don’t do pour over coffee so the way I do it works for expresso use, might not be the correct way for pour overs. I went ahead and created a video as if it was on the expresso machine. Here is the text for what I did1) Turn on the scale. (There are 2 settings one with sound and the other with without from what I could tell)2) Double Tap the ON button (you should get the water drop)3)Place your cup on the sale.4)Press the T (Tare) and the water drop should blink which means as soon as it senses water/weight it will start the timer. So go ahead and start your expresso(in my case pour the water over the cup as an example)One thing I have noticed is you have to work fast if not it stops and you have to turn off the scale and redo all the steps. Also, use the charger it comes with to charge. Not sure if it was my wires or the scale but it would only charged with the one it came with. Hope the video and the explanation helps.

EDIT - fixed - Stopped charging
EDIT 04/01/2024seller reached out to me, they were very friendly to work with, and provided a replacement. replacement charging does work!Original:Like many reviewers, my device also stopped charging after 3 months. Very disappointing. I don’t recommend this company.

It is an okay scale
I believe the accuracy is less than desirable. I pick up whatever I have weighed and set it back down and the weight is different by 3-4 tenths. My understanding is .1 accuracy. If this is not made for pour overs, if you try and swirl the water the scale shuts off the second you lift the V60. It works just don’t expect to much from it.

Worked well.. for a few months
I liked this scale well enough while it lasted. The auto shot weight and timer mode was interesting but ultimately too complex a button sequence for me to bother. Used it a lot for the last few months but now it just refuses to charge. I kept the port seal closed at all times and did my best to baby it but it just doesn't seem to be built to last.Guess I'll probably end up just having to spend more for something a little her quality but good if you want to spend less to see if you actually will use a scale enough to justify a nicer one.

Perfect for Espresso Making
Small and sleek kitchen scale that I am using now to perfect my espresso making skills! Sound is a little loud but you're able to mute it. Exactly what I was looking for.
