This is a great product to help with work flow while traveling. My IPad fits perfectly beside my MacBook to allow for dual monitors. The magnets are strong and hold the IPad firmly.

I really wanted to like this, I was genuinely excited to see how this would work with my MacoBook. When I unboxed and tried to use it, here's what I discovered:* You HAVE to use the adhesive magnetic plates to get the magnetic holder to work. The metal case on the MacBook does NOT have enough magnetism to work. The holder will attach on it's own to other metal surfaces, but not the computer. So you either have to glue metal plates to your laptop, or to a case on your laptop.* The adhesive metal plate has a knob that sticks up. That means the plates will catch on things.* The kit to attach a tablet is just not strong enough to hold the weight of a tablet.* I was able to get a phone to attach with the adhesive plate, however two issues there. If you tip the screem back slightly on a 2023 MachBook Pro, the weight of an iPhone 14 was enough to cause the screen to fall all the way back and not stay up. Only if you keep your screen completely upright will you be able to keep it stable. Also, the wireless charger in their kit does not work through a case. I had to take it out of the case to charge.

I saw this product on instagram. And it was exactly what I was looking for. I often use my iPad as a second screen for my MacBook but would struggle with screen positioning, mounting, desk area, it was a pain. I had a stand for it but that doesn’t fit well in a backpack or bag. This is a very simple solution that works as advertised, doesn’t take up any room and initially is very high quality!Watch the video for installation so you don’t mess it up the first time like I did! The product is great and does what it claims. Just a warning that the adhesive is super strong. I bought this for my MacBook Pro but after about few months of owning the rolling edge, I decided to sell my MacBook Pro back to apple. I wanted to make sure to get the best price so I wanted to remove the rolling edge.It is extremely difficult to remove the rolling edge, at the end I ended but having to buy goo gone, work gloves, and extra fishing line because the one they provide was not enough. I’m a pretty strong guy too and I work out regularly, but I had to use so much force just to get these removed even with goo gone’s help.At the end i spent close to the price of what I paid just to initially on products to just take the product off.If you even think there is a possibility of you selling your device, then don’t purchase this product.

The core hinges work great. The magnets are very strong and have no problem holding my 11” M4 iPad Pro, but my 16” M4 MacBook Pro cannot support the weight of the hinges and the iPad. I will be ordering a separate portable support stand to fix this issue. Also, forget about trying to use the wire that comes with the kit to remove the plates. It breaks too easily. Just take a plastic putty knife and gently pry the plate up.

I am using two 17-inch external screens on my Lenovo L430. They hold two screens great. No issues at all.

The product is a good idea, but the adhesives do not stick well and keep sliding off my tablet. Let me rephrase—one out of the 4 rounded disks work. If your tablet gets hot it shows your tablet will start to slide then when you take it off the "mag disk(s)" you will see that the disk itself is stuck to the disk. This may only be subject, to me. But it is quite disappointing. For the amount of money I paid I expectedmore. Buy at your own risk. I may look into getting a refund. I would much rather hope that the seller. Could just send me a new kit. Three pro kits would most likely be the correct amount. Three would most likely support more than just the two pairs they offer. I hope that the seller sees this report. I hope this helps anyone.

Connected my iPad Air m2 as a second monitor for my M3 Pro. I followed the directions, used the extra strength adhesive provided, and currently use my case fold as an extra support. This also allows me to mount the iPad in the car, as well as my phone directly to the computer for a webcam, or the iPad for not having to keep the damn thing in my pocket while using the iPad.Regardless what you’re thinking, I was skeptical, and really really enjoy it. This is probably my first Amazon review to give you an idea.
