Better than others I've used

Needed a new phone jack for my Iphone, Apple one had broken, non brand from supermarket was temperamental. I already had a similar charging cable so went for this phone jack as wanted a robust item. Its longer than the apple product and stiffer, and after two weeks of use seem well made and robust. I expect this to last far longer than the my previously thinner jack. Would recommend product. If and when it stops working I will update this review.

just got an I phone 14 plus (no earphone socket) apple seem to think that’s the way to go!!…..I personally still like my over the head sennhiesers they are still good after many years service…this adaptor does the job very well with no sound quality lost….a little bit overpriced but had to have one to continues listning to music on my new phone

This little adapter is absolutely perfect for what I need it to do, connect normal 3.5mm headphones to my iphone that only has a lightning cable connection. I can now use any headphones with my iphone and the sound quality is vastly improved to what I was using prior to having this.I am not really a fan of the basic apple style headphones and prefer something with a bit more oomph an style. I am happy with this product allowing me to now do this. It is only just as long as it needs to be to connect from the port on my phone to my headphone lead, just a few inches so no unnecessary wires but adds a nice little extra lenth to any short wired headphone leads which is an added bonus.The style and design of this adapter is really nice and quite sleek with a metallic smooth look and braided cable for rxtra strength and stability to the wire connections. A solid product for this purpose and I have had no issue with compatibility.

Users of iPhone will know that if you want to use a third party set of earphones with a 3.5mm jack, there is a need for an adapter so you can use it with the Apple Lightning connection on the devices. I have a high-end set of earphones which I use with my SE 2020, so have a need for such a product.This one from Basesailor comes MFI certified and is nylon braided - the braiding is of particular interest, as I use the earphones every day, so I wanted something that was going to be durable and robust. At 13.99gbp, this is competitively priced in comparison to other similar items on Amazon.Build qualityThe adapter comes reasonably well-packaged in a sealed bag, within a small box. Straight away, it feels well-built, made from good quality materials. The connections, both on the 3.5mm end and the lightning end are solid, which gives me confidence that they won't so easily disconnect when I'm using the earphones. The braided lead is also great, much better than the flimsy plastic with the OE Apple wires and adapters.Sound qualityNot being an audiophile, my comments on this aspect are going to be fairly rudimentary, however what I can say is that sound quality is still very good, with no distortion, or connection issues. I did have an alternative product that could be a little temperamental, depending on the connection. No such issues with the Basesailor adapter so far.LongevityThe alternative product I used lasted about 4-5 months before stopping working altogether, so I am hoping that the Basesailor lasts longer. So far, so good, and I will be reporting back in a few months with an update.Value for moneyThis is priced well, being in the same ballpark as rival adapters. For the build quality, I am happy that this is a good price point. Depending on how long it lasts, and therefore how often it needs to be replaced, this viewpoint may change, however at the moment, this is a great price for a great product.

A great product and I have no doubt it will last a long time but it's not particularly flexible and rather tough so if you want to put your phone in your pocket and listen with headphones connected by the Lightning Jack then it always seems to get tangled in your coat or pocket and doesn't fold in with the phone easily.

Very convenient for me, now I can use any other headphones and don’t have to pay overprice because it’s a apple phone headset that has some weird quality issues
