It works
Good product - follow the instructions and be patient. Build up the coats slowly. I used a hair dryer on low power to gently speed up the drying process. Happy with the results.

Faded Smoke.
Well, the process took some time but as you can see we’ll worth the time and effort, The coats in my can where very, very fine, it took me at least 10 light coats with 20mms in between then a further 3 coats to allow for buffing,” I think in some cans judging by other reviews the spray comes out a lot thicker!”I then let them dry for at least 12 hours.I didn’t want the actual light unit to be sprayed as I know some Police and MOT test stations can be funny with tinted lights, so decided to just do the surrounds, I masked up the lighting unit which wasn’t too hard, photo included, sorry for picture of loo, LOL!Now for the secret to getting those tinted lights to shine, I used Meguiar polishing compound on a buffing pad attached to a drill, it gave my lights a really nice factory shine plus as my light units had different shades of red it gave a Faded Smoke effect.Really Pleased with the results, a great product to use.

Great product
One of the lights came out amazing all glossy, the other one came out Matt. Not sure how this happened but it did might be my application who knows. Super easy to do and so far it’s been 2 months with no sign of wear at all.

Spot on
After trying loads of tint vinyl and just not being able to get the result I wanted I decided to buy a tin of this, and wow, rear of the car looks completely different, it's absolutely spot on to use and I only needed 5 coats for my lights, 1 tin did both rear lights on my insignia.I left the tin to room temp, until I needed to use it then soaked it in warm water for about 15mins.While it soaked I gave the lights a really good clean with degreaser and then clean water and gave them a real good drying.I sprayed each light giving relatively light coats each time spraying about 20-30cm away from light, it's very thin and if your too heavy handed and spray too close too quick you will get runs but I'm not too bad with a rattle can so already knew this.So between each light coat making sure whole light is covered I gave around 20min per light to dry off before the next coat.I did 5 coats on mine and it gave me same result roughly as what the tint film gave, any more and I think they'd be too dark.My friend also bought a can of this from a local shop and asked me to do his lights due to how ours have turned out and I did exactly the same with his, 5 coats and same time to dry a little.Overall I'm very happy, it's certainly changed the look of the back of the car and they look awesome. As a cheaper alternative to tint film or the expense of getting them tinted by a pro I'd highly rate using this, although bare in mind its not easily removable if you get pulled over.As a general idea Id use between 3 and 5 relatively thin coats but it does go darker as it dries so make sure you don't go too dark.Other than that, easy to use and highly recommended 👌

Perfect! It does a very impressive job.
Never really sprayed anything on vehicle before but this covered the rear lights on the MK8 Transit perfectly. I had a bit of a run on my first coat but I caught the run with a tissue, smeared it and after 4 coats, you can't even see it.I did 4 coats, dried in between with a heat gun (gently) and there was still paint left in the tin. The lights got very dark but you can still see through them for legal purposes. The paint dries with a lovely matte finish to it too.All in all: very impressed!

it works … but
so it works grate i done them abit darker then i wanted cause it went patchy shouldn’t of done it in the wind 🤦🏼♀️😂 but managed to do one fine started doing the second one and it just died still had so much in it but just wouldn’t spray out just kept splattering…. but i couldn’t leave one half done so tryed my hardest to try get it looking the same but my hands are now black and it’s not finished all cause the nozzle is defective 😕 otherwise it’s would of been really cool product but i’ve seen on the reviews this happened to someone else too 🤷🏼♀️

Decent
First time using and I'm impressed! 4 coats is about enough I think. Make sure you properly prepare your lights and thoroughly clean them, when dry I put a spray sealant on

Must know what you’re doing
The product works really, really well. I prefer this look compared to the previous taillight tint which I used to have on my car. However, you must know what you’re doing. Mask the car up really well because the spray goes everywhere and it’s a pain to take it off the car if it goes on there. At first, I didn’t achieve a very glossy finish after applying 4-5 coats (1st pic). Unhappy with the results, I masked up the car again and applied 2 more coats and achieved a high-gloss finish. I guess you have to first achieve the darkness you want, then after it’s cured, go over it again to achieve a shiny finish which is what I did and it turned out great (2nd pic). I let it dry 5-10 minutes between each coat and applied around 6-7 coats by the end of it.
