So, first off, if you sleep cool or cold, don't even attempt it without a sheet or something else. For context, sheets are typically too cool for me on their own but a blanket is too hot for me on its own. But this light airy material is the perfect balance. There's technically two layers with two different feels. The bottom layer (1st picture) that goes against your skin is more silky smooth, while the top (second) is a meshy woven material that is a little more course bug I assume provides warmth. It's quite thin, the 3rd and 4th photo are from the same angle just one with (3rd) and one without (4th) flash. You can see the star design of the top layer easily from underneath. It's also so lightweight. It's probably the lightest blanket in my house and folds up very compact.Our AC is dying so we've had to increase the house temperature lately to exert it less. I barely break a sweat under this thing, yet I stay warm as the temperatures cool overnight. I'm very happy with this purchase.

The cons of this blanket is first off it’s not attached anywhere except around the edges, so it separates while sleeping (just 2 pieces of satin material no filler). Secondly, it’s sooo slippery it slides off my bed during the night. It’s like sleeping on satin sheets wearing satin pajamas!
