Really useful portable soldering iron
Love this thing! Use it for automotive projects and tube amp electronics projects that I take along to work on when on road trips/camping. I just keep the stuff in a plastic bin and can work on projects at a picnic table whenever the weather is nice. With a 12V car charger for my Dewalt batteries, it is a self contained system away from home. The one gripe i have is the tiny sponge for cleaning the tip, really need a batter tip cleaner, and that the steel tray that holds the sponge rusts. It should be made from staineless steel.

Fantastic cordless portable soldering.
This Cordless Soldering Station is an absolute game-changer! Being able to use my Dewalt 20V batteries for soldering makes it incredibly convenient, especially for on-the-go repairs and fieldwork. The heat-up time is quick, and the temperature control is precise, allowing for clean and consistent soldering. The build quality is solid, and the design is well thought out. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and perfect for automotive, electrical, and DIY projects where an outlet isn’t available. If you already have Dewalt batteries, this is a must-have addition to your tool collection.

Seems to work for some, not for me, maybe faulty unit. Only used once way past the return time
This guy The D poster exactly the same issue I had. Ended up just using my Weller Soldering Station on an extension cord because this item frustrated me. It also acted like the tip didn’t have a good connection like when ya forget to screw them down all the way (happens to the best of us) because the temp fluctuated like crazy on the tip itself. Anyway, what The D said below is pretty much my experience…Tinning 16 ga wire was tedious - failReviewed in the United States on May 11, 2024Model: Soldering Station 01On a new pack I placed this unit excited for the mobility and getting under the dash of my classic bmw to rework the harness and to no avail as this unit struggled to Tin the wires in the pre solder stage using flux and proper heat. I did not get out the infra red thermometer to verify the tip temperatureI must have spent 20 minutes flowing tin across 12-14 wires of 16ga awg. If setup correctly that should take no more than a minute or two. 20 minutes? Im underestimating here in honesty I think it took an hour total to solder and shrink all 12 connections.Unacceptable. I've been soldering for 20 years. All I know is my wireless ts 100 despite not lasting a long time, can do a better job and this thing runs off 5s1p power tool cells. I was using a 6ah pack, I don't think it was a supply problem.I can't say what went wrong here but Mind you it says 20v on the app and the item says 21v???The sleep setting is retarded. When sleeping it remains 200f. I'd set higher it will remain higher? Logic is messed up. When sleeping it should GO TO SLEEP!. When woke it should turn on!
