I got these earplugs because my home office is directly next to our outdoor a/c unit which is really loud and the neighbor's dog barks a lot which can make it difficult to concentrate. These worked well to tone down the noise of the a/c , making it just unobtrusive background noise, but they did not help as much with the dog barking. Maybe these work better for some decibel levels than others? I would recommend them for reducing background noise, but don't expect them to nullify all the sounds around you.They are super lightweight and comfortable (they are just like in-ear earbuds with 3 different sized ear bits to choose from) and provided a steady level of noise reduction. I was able to hear someone walking up to me to converse, so I'd feel comfortable using these out in public without feeling like I was cut off from the world. Unlike expanding foam earplugs, these don't cause any ear canal pain and you can't really see them from the front, so they are pretty discrete. Because these sit flush with your ear, I was able to use these with my noise cancelling headphones and the combo of both gave me blissful silence - even from the dog's barking.They came with a small, plastic carrying case that's big enough to hold all 3 sizes of the ear tips, plus the earplugs themselves. The case is similar to the ones you get with earpods and is small enough to put in your pocket/purse.

These earplugs fit good and they lower the sound just enough to help me sleep. I almost don't feel right calling them earplugs because they block so little sound.

These are good and effective earplugs if your noise reduction needs are in the 14db range. I find that it's not enough for playing in my band, but good for sleep or trying to concentrate on something without being distracted.They come in a nice case and there are different tip sizes for good fit. The price is definitely right for what you get!

These flexible silicone ear plugs are comfortable to wear for hours or overnight. I find that these offer moderate attenuation, perhaps a bit less than Loop Quiet, which have NRR 14, so they are good for focus or taking the edge off in mildly noisy environments, but they wouldn't be my top pick for very loud settings or for trying to totally block out sound. Verbal communication is still possible with these in, but they do muffle speech somewhat.I'm not entirely sure why manufacturers think I'd want a case that accommodates the tips that don't fit my ear canals in addition to the ear plugs, but I can instead fit a pair of foam ear plugs into the case along with the silicone plugs so I'm covered for louder situations. The case snaps closed securely and fits readily into a pocket, but it doesn't have a loop for attaching to a keyring or lanyard.

These earplugs are very comfortable in my ear. I sometimes even forget they are there. They do keep most sound out, but if my wife is snoring very loudly, I still hear her. I like that if someone is talking to me, I can still hear them well enough to understand them, but it keeps most of the background noise out. I wear them at loud concerts so I don't get a headache from the loud music.

These do quiet the noise around me nicely, however I can't sleep in them, the shape bothers my ears a bit too much. But I can use them for reading or other times I want a bit more quiet.

My favorite style of ear plugs for noise suppression. Good comfort. Decent noise suppression. The case is fine for storage but as compact or rugged as some for travel. Decent value.
