Impressed beyond belief! HIGHLY RECOMMEND to all craftsmen, artisans, & artists
It is sometimes difficult to write just how an item exceeds all possible expectations, but this package deserves the effort! Firt thing to note is that you get everything mentioned as described (With minor exception below) and shown on the page. Best way to go on is the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly method. GOOD, no - GREAT: The feel of this in my hand is somewhat heavier, but in all other ways identical to the feel and grip of my favorite ball point ink pen, the Zebra F301. Slim, easy to grip and maneuner, and extremely well balanced - the balance point is 1/4" toward the point from center with the tip at max insertion. It leaves the weight resting on the hand rather than the finger and thumb tips, and allows enough fine control that you can not only mark/scribe lines, but carefully draw a sketch on any surface. The quality of construction is excellent. Knurling and smooth finishes are all vert smooth and well-machined. The pocket clip is the circumference band type, so it will not break out of the body and can be removed/replaced as desired. The red tip covers appear to be standard soft pvc/rubber slip fits and are quite secure. They may eventually dry out a bit, but I have yet to see one of those crack and fail under typical use and storage conditions. If the tip rests at max insertion or about 3/8" exposed you will not have the sharp tip pentrate your pockets (or you!). The collet closure is simple and secure when fully tightened. If it should ever loosen due to wear (doubtful) or misuse (possible but not probable) there are inexpensive fixes such as shims, but you do have three more scribers to fall back on, right? The magnet seems to be a rare earth type and is quite strong. The pictures on product page show it with a few small screws attached. In fact I used it to pick up by the head a six inch long 3/8" bolt, and my 60 year old boy scout pocket knife (wt.88g or 3.1oz) from the work bench. They both wobble a bit and will shake free from the magnet, but that ability is still impressive. I do not recommend doing so for safety reasons, but I was able to rest my scriber in a horizontal position to a vertical steel bar and hanging from an overhead beam in my workshop. Impressive. Have I mentioned yet that these cost less than $2.50 each? And you get a free 6" ruler which is accurate and in a protective sleeve for convenient safe storage when hanging or laying in drawer or on bench. Buy this for yourself, even if you seldom need one you can "gift" three to your friends and relatives with six extra tips for each. If yours gets lost, stolen, or damaged you can always borrow one back. Or be less stingy and buy one set for yourself, and several more to give as gifts, or employee rewards, etc. BAD: At this price they may soon be sold out or temporarily out of stock. UGLY: The ad wording is better than many I find here, but there are two items that I will mention, both regarding the bonus ruler. First the ruler is described as "clear" Since it is metal it should say "clearly read" or "clearly marked" or both since both are true. Second - the ruler is described as "thickened". I have no idea what that means. For the record, the ruler measures out to 0.013" thick which is actually quite thin. It is flexible to a mild degree without causing a permanent warp. It is similar to many drafting type rules in that respect. I find it perfectly useable and no problem at all. If you consider it a freebie bonus it is especially worth what you paid... I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this as above the five-star rating I can give it.

Excellent value
Excellent value. 4 scribes, 20 extra tips, and a stainless steel 155mm, 6 inch ruler with 1/64, 1/32, 1/16, 1/10, 1/20, and 1/50 inch markings. Scribe points are very sharp and very hard carbide, So far I've scratched my initials into ABS, stainless steel and even my ceramic coffee mug. The rare earth magnets at the back end of the scribes are another bonus.

Great quality
These are really good quality for the money it came with lots of extra tips the gripping on it is really good and it seems to be really durable on holding up I use this everyday and have yet to change a tip yet and I've had it for a couple of months the tungsten seems to stay really well and doesn't slide around in and out of the tip

Good cheap scribe
Good scribe for a great price. They magnetic end isn't the best, but at this price who cares. The carbide point is nice and sharp and it does the job.

Decent
These work well for scribing cut lines and they are so cheap you wont care if you lose or break one. Hard to go wrong. Keep a few in your apron

These work very well, the knurling looks good and gives a good grip. Just nice to use and with spare tips to boot. Whats not to like?

Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertised and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR
