The figure is a great size but has some annoying things about the transformation
The figure looks good in both modes. The figure is a good size and the transformation isn’t complicated. I do end up needed to use my nails for certain steps which can be annoying. It is that fun to transform back and forth because of this. It comes with a good amount of accessories and the box was also in perfect condition. The matrix of leadership included in his chest was an extra detail that was nice to look at. It is very detailed surrounding the matrix and is spring loaded. I recommend this for any transformers fan. However the cab does separate too easily when transforming so it is best just to transform it separate.

Such a big boy
All I can say is get this Ultra Magnus toy. This feels like a Masterpiece but better.I will start in the vehicle mode. It's the classic ultra magnus truck with a removable cab. Unfortunately the cab does not turn into a robot but looks like engineering team left that open for 3rd parties to take care of it.The robot mode is amazing and fun. The transformation is fun and satisfying.Magnus poses well, feels great and looks great.Out of the box there is some assembly for Magnus head antenna. He accessories are decent but somewhat boring, only good for posing. The gimmick is terrible as he just loses his limbs but doesn't affect the robot mode or transformation in any way, forgettable. The only issue you might encounter is that some copies might have loose shoulders like mine. IDK how to tighten that

Ultra fun to be had by all!
Ultra Magnus, the heroic Autobot, stands tall at 9.5 inches. His movie-inspired deco and details are spot-on, capturing the essence of the iconic character. Whether you remember him from having an imposing presence or wielding the Matrix of Leadership and fail miserably, lol, this figure pays homage to Ultra Magnus’s legacy.Pros:Highly Articulated: Ultra Magnus’s posability allows for expressive and action-packed displays.Movie-Inspired Design: Faithful to the character’s appearance in the 1986 animated movie.Accessories: Comes with 4 blasters, 7 blast effects, and a Matrix of Leadership accessory.Cons:Complex Transformation: The 43-step transformation might be challenging for some collectors.Price Point: As a Commander Class figure, it’s on the higher end of the price spectrum. For fans of the 1986 movie, this Ultra Magnus figure is a must-have. It combines nostalgia with modern engineering, making it a standout piece in the Studio Series lineup. Autobots, roll out! 🤖🌠13. Remember, Ultra Magnus doesn’t just fight battles; he inspires legends!

A great utilitarian trukk-bot
One day on the playground, my friend said to me, "I was at the toy store and I saw a new Optimus Prime and he was white and not red and he had a different trailer and you could load it with 4 Autobot cars!" I replied, "Are you on drugs? Optimus Prime is red!" I went to the toy store the next day and my friend was absolutely right. So I bought the white Optimus Prime and brought him to the playground to verify my friend's claim to his face. Boy, was he jealous of me that I got him first. He was giving me a lot of attitude. That was back in 1986. Fast forward to 2023 and I bought this figure for my 46-year-old self. Mom let me open it before Christmas and I got to say that this guy is impressive. He's has a great resemblance to his cartoon model but a little bit more on the chunky side but that's okay. I guess because of this, Hasbro opted not to bother with the inner Optimus Prime robot which was a feature of the original toy.But don't let that deter you from using your children's food budget to pay for the privilege of displaying this on your shelf as you decide on which figure to remove from said shelf because you ran out of space. He does all the silly poses that modern robot figures do and he feels hefty. Believe me, this figure feels much better in your hands than the feel of ninety dollars of food in your family's stomachs.

One of the Best Commander Class toys to date
I've never had a figure this big or expensive before but I wasn't disappointed when opening the box. The figure is built like a brick with clicky ratchet joints to hold any pose and two blasters in each hand. As a heads up make sure the shoulder rockets are attached and antenna are attached; I wouldn't be afraid to put a dab of super glue or washable glue on the antenna to make sure they don't go anywhere. The blast affect trees are a great addition working with every blaster I attach however, the fit on the figures own blasters is fine but can't hold the whole tree so you'll need to break them down to 2 or 3 pieces. The vehicle mode is the most fun I've had with any figure I've had before, I use it now ot stow away any deluxe class figures i don't want to display or have room. My only compliant on my particular figure are the loose shoulders (fixed with super glue) and the one of the trailer tires is missing a metal pin. Grab this figure when it's back in stock, you won't put it down.

Best Figure of 2023
Hasbro has outdone themselves and made the perfect Ultra Magnus figure. Great size, articulation, transformation. Looks like he walked off the screen.

This is Ultra Magnus!
This is by far the best release of Ultra Magnus in a long time. The OG Ultra Magnus update we needed. It is so much fun to transform and pose, great articulation, and looks perfect in both robot and vehicle form. Very durable, some small parts to watch out for, and overall worth every penny. It stands up great next to all the other Studio 86 and movie series figures.

Excellent TF figure
While I would've liked this to have been $15-ish cheaper, I am not going to complain because this is a phenomenal figure. Yes, the shoulders are a bit wide, however this is still incredibly good. And I say this while not even being a huge fan of Ultra Magnus as a character. This has jumped up in price, but if you are thinking about getting it, and can get it closer to the original cost, I promise, it is worth it. I am confident in saying this is the definitive version of this character; I truly don't know how Hasbro will ever top this version.
