Great for party favors
Made these for party favors for a bridal shower. This was well received! I filled them with mints and nuts. Lots of compliments. You really have to use mat board. I got a bunch of mat board from a website where you could buy in bulk, any color. I bought a sand color and can paint any color, distress, embellish, whatever I want! Cute and easy!

Smaller than expected
This is much smaller than expected. I wouldn't order this again. I'll get my craft equipment from a craft store where I can make better choices. It's nice for small stuff but it wouldn't work for my needs. Eventually It will be used.

Would have been nice to know BEFORE I ordered...
My die works just fine but the product description says both Measuring 3 7/8" x 5 1/2" x 1/2" and Measuring 6" x 13 3/4". I knew the 6" x 13 3/4" would be the die itself, so I figured that the 3 7/8" x 5 1/2" x 1/2" was the finished suitcase. I was planning on using it to hold 3x5 cards. Unfortunately, it is not. The finished suitcase is 4 1/4" wide, 3 1/8" tall not including the handle, 3 3/4" tall with the handle and 1 1/8" deep. Also, it would have been important to know ahead of time that you need brads to hold it together. It will probably work with tape or glue but then there are holes left where the brads are supposed to go. One more minor detail, you have to basically guesstimate where to tape the flap that holds it closed, as there is nothing marking where it goes (that would change depending on the thickness of what you are cutting.) I didn't guess right either time, so I'll probably just use a decorative element to close it, rather than the flap. Knowing these things, I would not have made the investment. Now that I have it, I'm sure I'll eventually come up with something cute to do with it.

Super Die! Use it with movers and shapers!
I love this thing!I wish I had gotten it sooner.Yes it needs chipboard or mat board!!!A cereal box will work fine. Cut paper also but you will want then paste that on the box. As it will cut plain cardstock on the score lines. I used a movers and shapers rectangle die after cutting out to get a window. See photos. Super cute! There are so many ways to make this adorable.

Cute but there are problems
I bought this to make favor containers for my daughter's wedding. I do like the end product, however, there are problems with two of the blades in my die. One is supposed to make a scoring line, but it cuts all the way through. The other which is also supposed to make a scoring line barely shows up in one spot. I can manage even with these two flaws to craft a cute little suitcase, though I couldn't give the product 5 stars because of the flaws. Also, one is supposed to use chipboard or mat board with this product. I was unaware of this when I purchased the die. Since we were using it in order to save money, these two options are highly impractical in terms of our wedding budget. I bought posterboard which works if a shim is used, but it should be a thick shim, not a thin one or the shim will also be cut and you'll need a new shim every time you use it. Also bear in mind that the only cutting die you get with this product is for the suitcase itself. You must supply any additional embellishments such as those pictured.
