I really like these pillow headphones, as I find wearing headphones in bed uncomfortable. I have tried a couple of products designed for going around your head, or in the pillow and they were pretty bad quality sound and uncomfortable/hot. This product is a bit larger than I thought, but is comfortable under the pillow case - not under whole pillow as you would not hear it (it says this in instructions though). If it gets a bit too much directly under my head, I just push it up inside the pillow case a few inches, so it sits just above my head - and it works fine. The sound is good for spoken word / podcasts but too tinny for me with music. But this is what I mainly need so was really happy. It has to be plugged in, so make sure you have a usb / or usb plug near your pillow as the cord is not very long. But it is refreshing not to have to charge something ! And the remote is good as you don’t need to look at your phone at night, which always wakes me up. It took me a while but now I can use remote without even turning the light back on to see the buttons. It connects with a good BT connection, and even if you stop listening usually pressing play will just restart what you were listening too, even if several hours since you were last listening on BT. I think the price is good value for the quality and options for using different connections (BT, MP3, JACK) And the little remote too.

For two or three years I’ve been trying to source something other than earbuds / earphones to listen to my books and podcasts in bed. Ideally to send me to sleep ! Nothings has really worked from buds , to under pillow speakers, soundbar things and headbands. None of them have really worked - especially the soundbar! I thought I’d give the Avantree unit a go and indeed it works. I have it inside my pillow, plugged in to a usb socket and Bluetooth’d to my iPad. Set up was easy although it can supposedly be configured to do all sorts of things - it’s too much hassle. But it plays my podcasts etc very clearly. My wife can’t hear it and having a remote control unit it’s easy to control. Sometimes the speakers seem to protrude a bit into your ear but on the most part they do what it says on the tin. It’s not hifi sound quality but it’s sufficient for spoken word purposes. Good job and worth the money.

I’ve been searching for a good pair of stereo pillow speakers for many years, and all the ones I’ve previously had have been poor to useless. Saw these advertised, and noticed pretty good reviews so I thought I’d give them a go. I like to listen to soothing music as I fall asleep, and I wish I’d come across these speakers before I’d wasted money on cheap tat!. The sound from these speakers is exceptional for their size, and for once, a pair of speakers with great sound quality and enough volume to penetrate easily through from the underside of my pillow. Sure they’re a tad more expensive, but you get what you pay for. I’m using the output from an iPad via an aux cable and use the iPad’s timer for my music and a smart plug on the usb power cable, so everything is taken care of automatically. Well worth the expense 👍

I found the sound quality to be awful, there was a constant hum behind the music i was playing through aux. Plus it wasnt comfortable to sleep on as i could feel the hard plastic speaker under my head. Very disappointed.

For years I struggled to get off to sleep until I found speakers with imbedded pillows. I couldn't listen to a podcast or the radio on a regular speaker without keeping my wife awake. I've had 3 speaker pillows which have all been pretty good, but when the last one gave up, I searched to see what else was out there. The good points of the Aventree slumber: 1) It's essentially an insert that slips between your pillow and the pillow case so you can use it with your favourite pillow, whether that's memory foam, down filled, large small, whatever 2) It has two speakers which means you can get stereo audio, if your device and recording allow 3) Because of the two speaker set up, you can lie flat on your back and still hear the audio - something that I found didn't work well with other solutions, without disturbing your sleep mate 4) Manufacturing quality is good 5) The product is comfortable to use The less good points: 1) It's more pricey than some other options available 2) It has to be plugged into a power source (USB), it doesn't work by being powered by your device 3) Audio quality is surprisingly disappointing (I think the speaker quality in the device) compared to other options I've had before, but in truth unless your ear is right on top of one of the speakers it's not a deal breaker All in all, I would recommend this product because on balance it best suits my use and needs. If this was able to run on audio device power, this would make this a portable option for travelling which would be an upside. And really for the money, I'd ideally want the audio to be better. Fix those and this would be a slam dunk 5 star

Headbands and ear buds are uncomfortable at night so wanted to try this instead. I have ringing in my ear due to ear fluid so sleeping at night has been disrupted. I put on my own white noise all night via Bluetooth and it’s perfect. It blocks out the ringing in my ear. You need to select the right EQ to make it sound nice. You put the speaker inside your pillowcase first, it feels strange at first but you get used to it. Your head fits comfortably in the middle of it. I can put my ear on top of any speaker and it’s fine but make sure the level is low first of course! It comes with a uk plug but it made a high pitched noise so not good quality. I used an iPhone plug instead and the noise stopped. The cable is long enough if you have a plug nearby. The remote is very handy! I can now have a wonderful relaxing nights sleep, I’m so grateful ☺️🥹 Don’t hesitate to buy this product! I am a genuine customer and did not receive anything for this review ☺️

Went from earphones, to sleepmask to this. Not going back, this is perfect. Great sound, multiple options, stays plugged in so doesn't run out of juice at 4 am, it's absolutely perfect for sleeping playlist . The included sounds are ok, will listen sometimes too.

This is better than I expected. The sound is very good and I appreciate the volume control. I've tried its bluetooth and aux in functions, both work well. Being able to copy sounds onto the Slumber itself is really nice too, its very convenient. Also I like that it draws power from mains, I don't have to worry about charging batteries. The only odd thing is that some of the sounds that come pre-installed on the device are not good for looping, some fade in/out giving an interrupt in the pattern. However that is easily resolved by replacing the sounds with your own, so I consider this a non-issue. I'm a very light sleeper and worried the feeling of the "bumps" of the speakers would hinder my sleep. But they are only slightly noticeable, and to be safe I got a large flat pillow for this, large enough that the speakers rest above my head and not directly under. Very happy :)

Commandé pour mon père qui souffre d'acouphènes qui l'empêchent de dormir, ce système fonctionne très bien. Utilisé depuis 2 à 3 semaines, mon père est satisfait. Les bruits blancs l'aident à se rendormir. Facile à utiliser, bonne qualité.
