Listen all it took was one time for my cat to jump off the balcony from the second floor for me not to let her out on the balcony ever again but the way she was scratching at the door like a lil crack head trying to come outside i decided to give it another try. After purchasing this net and nailing it to the wall for a more secure position i open the door to the balcony and she gave me a wtf is this look. But now she won’t jump.

Be careful attaching it- it fell off once but it was easy to put back up. The cat loves it and sleeps most of the day in it. She prefers this to the cat tree.

The netting on the net is small enough so nothing but small bugs can get through but still lets air flow through, which is great for when you want to step outside but not have to worry about your pets or young ones falling through the holes on your balcony rails. Be sure to measure what you want to cover to make sure you have enough. The material feels somewhat durable.
