Lola is SO pretty!
So, Lola's my first doll from this line, but she won't be the last I buy!Her build is a bit curvier than modern Barbie's and her hands, arms, booty, and feet are a little bigger, so if you or your child are into fashion play, you'll need to either buy the Latinista (or maybe Naturalista, since I think they have the same bodies) branded clothes or make sure the items are a bit looser in the sleeves and booty. Her sculpt is beautiful (girl got ABS!!!), and this is a high quality, gorgeous doll with as much articulation as a Fashionista Barbie for a similar price point. Her arms and legs each feature a single ball joint point of articulation. She cannot do the splits, because she's got that curvier backside. Her head is on a lovely, solid swivel. She's a solid, hard plastic doll that I feel will stand up to a child who's a little rough on their toys, though if they're outright destructive, probably not. A special shout out to the graceful pose of her hands and the realistic fingers. Her hair is a beautiful black shade with a slightly warm highlight. Lots of lovely gloss, and it's soft and easy to comb through. I've had a little shedding while re-styling it to match the doll art, but it's just a few hairs here and there. The amount of hair is generous, though the rooting is a little widely spaced in the back... which is common in most dolls, honestly. I will say that I think her hairline is maybe a smidge too far forward, but that's at least partly because I'm used to the classic Barbie's 5 head.I don't love the style of her outfit, with its heavy branding on everything, but that's the joy of fashion dolls, you can change their outfits! I will say that the outfit is better made than most clothes real human beings can buy in a store these days, with careful, even stitching, seam allowances inside, and the print work is gorgeous. The long sheer skirt is fun, and her earrings and bracelets are well made. She won't be able to share Barbie's shoes because her feet are larger, but the black boots Lola came with are beautifully sculpted with stitching detail and a cute L logo, and wearing them, she can stand without a doll stand, and I feel like they can go with just about any outfit. (They even have a handy little L & R logo on the bottom to make sure they go on the correct feet!)Finally, her face. I was a LITTLE worried she'd be off center significantly like one of the images shows, or have heavily pixelated eyes as sometimes happens during a doll run. The Lola I received is beautiful, with only the slightest off-center tilt to her eyes that I had to stare at to notice. Her eyes are gorgeous, a rich dark brown with painted highlights in a caramel brown, and her lips are a pretty pink shade that both goes well with her lovely skin tone AND her bright pink outfit.Honestly, this brand is gorgeous, and I hope it continues for many years to come. Barbie needs some friendly competition, and the Naturalistas and Latinistas are here to give them a run for their money! With them being such a reasonable price with excellently made accessories, I'll probably be buying a couple for the local toy drive for the holidays!

Beautiful Latinista doll 😍 Bending knees and arms would be great though
The media could not be loaded. She is amazing and can wear other brands fashion doll clothes too. Her hair is soo soft and thick and so silky. Lola can sit as seen in photo but knees and arms do not bend . Her feet are extra Large which may look cool on the doll but much harder to find other shoes for her to wear and coordinate outfits . She is a solid sturdy doll that speaks quality in her construction. I'm hoping to see holiday outfits for these dolls like Dia de Los Muertos and Three Kings. ( much better quality hair than Barbie or Disney ILY 4ever)

Lola is very pretty!
Made strong and durable. Very nice doll to play with. Feet are just bigger than normal 30cm doll's so she cannot use "normal" Barbie/fashion doll shoes.

Beautiful Latina doll
The media could not be loaded. I really really like the Latina collection! It’s my first one from LatinistasAnd I am already ordering all of the rest. Did face is really beautiful. The hair is very luscious and soft and voluminous!I didn’t get a chance to brush ass it’s picture on Amazon, but I kind of like the way it came. I do really really like that. She can stand by herself without any support and she looks fierce! The outfit is very very characteristic of latin America, pop stars and I really enjoy it.

BOX CAME CRUSHED
I purchased this item as a gift. Upon opening the package the doll was pretty and exactly as pictured. The box however, came really crushed. It made it hard to wrap and made it look less appealing.

where to get shoes
Yes, it's a beautiful and well made doll that my granddaughter wanted. She does fit some Barbie clothes, but her feet are much larger. We did discover that the Rainbow High doll shoes do fit! You can get them on Amazon or less expensive at Walmart.
