No this does not play music. It only lights up.

I ordered 2 for my girls for christmas & just opened them to wrap & when I push button they dont light up. How do I get them to light up?.

They don’t come with batteries! I put them in before I wrapped it so it would work for my daughter on Christmas Eve! It takes AA batteries!:)
