Julian Baker sets a high standard
"The Bowen Technique" sets a bench mark for clear informative instruction covering the Bowen Therapy method. Julian Baker gets quickly to the point and covers much of his material with illustrations. Overall a very good book. Geoff Holt.

Easy to do.
I'm still not sure I believe in the Bowen method but most body therapies do give some kind of help so I tried it. I bought it for my husband to use on me and for me to use on my young son. It was a good book but with books like this you have to be really committed to practicing.

A must have.
One of the most informative books for therapists I have ever purchased Julian Baker has a clear understanding of the human body and all its intricacies. A must have.

Missing figures for every move
This does provide an intro to the Bowen technique but the book does not provide figures for each move. This is quite frustrating for lay people that may not know what things like "popliteal fossa" or "the ischial tuberosity" are.
