So far so good!
Iβve had purple hair since 2018 so I would say I have years of experience with a variety of bright color hair dyes from many different brands. My natural hair color is medium dark brown, but Iβve had gray hair since I was a kid and 30-35% of it is gray. Semi-permanent color doesnβt really cover my grays, so I had to use Ion Permanent Brights in purple for my roots, and ArcticFox for the rest, which after trying MULTIPLE brands, this was the one that worked the best for me. Iβd still had to co-wash my hair only once a week to make the color last as long as possible, re-color it once a month, and re-touch my roots every 6-8 weeks depending on growth. I love my purple hair but the maintenance process is exhausting! I NEEDED to find a more permanent solution. I stumbled upon Colour-Plex in Amethyst so I decided to give it a shot. I washed my hair with a clarifying shampoo before applying to get rid off as much of the previous color as possible. First impression: Colour-Flex was very easy to mix, it smelled good, application was smooth, and there was just enough product to fully cover my entire shoulder length thick hair. The recommended processing time is 25 minutes, but I left it on about an hour before washing it with cold water using only conditioner and rinsed it until the water was clear. I have to say that Iβm very impressed with the results and I like it so far! Once my hair dried, I noticed that my grays were completely covered and it deposited enough color on the rest of my hair so I didn't need to use a color mask after to get it to the shade I like. The color is a deep purple with blue undertones that looks almost black inside and bright purple in natural light, my hair smells amazing and it is sooo soft! Also, I noticed that my hands and nails werenβt stained after styling it, which is a problem Iβve dealt with my previous method. It might be too soon to tell, but Iβll comeback with an update after wash day.

It covered the gray but faded fast and left my hair blond when it was gone.
It will definitely make your hair purple. My hair is 50/50 grey and brown. When done it was all purple. It took a long time to run clear when rinsing. While it did cover the gray it has faded out very fast and what was left after the purple came out is not the grey I started with. Does smell bad at all. Did not stain tub or counter but will stain paint if you get it on that. I didnβt think anything was going to dye my gray hair but it did. It just doesnβt last and has to be redone often. Someone needs to define permanent hair color because I think it should last more than a few weeks and although I understand why it bleaches your hair to make it purple I did not want blond hair.

100 recommended! Is a hair treatment without doubt. This hair color restores my damaged hair ππ
100% recommended! I have my hair with some highlights that I done and that left my hair very dry (even using the most expensive products, shampoo and treatments.. nothings help to bring life to my hair. I stopped using hair color for almost 3 months -obviously the roots was noticeable, but I donβt want to damage more my hair. My hair is dark and barely have some gray hair. Is the reason I make some highlights for add dimension and not have just a flat color. That chemical process was to much for my thin hair (Iβm a 53 years old woman) But I give a try to this brand.. this hair color really restore my hair! Left with life and movement. I have 11 days from I used to. I not sure if the color will last.. but I could put another layer of this same hair color, it really is like a treatment for your hair, left the mine in really good condition.. I make a subscription for receive 3 per month (just in case have some additional there. π And I just want to say that (worry for my last hair damaged of highlights) I used 2 bottles of hair color, because I uses less peroxide in the mix (like 1/2 oz less of peroxide in each mix) and then I left working in my hair for almost 28 minutes. But the results are beautiful.. Iβm in love with this π In the photo I show the highlights that I made at home on my dark hair (I have previously another purple color) that highlights at home was what damaged more my hair. But this color dark purple -like eggplant π.. I really like the works in color and treatment on hair -see on videos after I used recently this new hair color treatment on my hair.. soft, repaired, lustrous, touching hair. I received too many compliments

Product stripped my color from most of my hair, but is vibrant on the roots.
UPDATE: I have only washed my hair twice since I used this product letting it sit on my hair for 30 minutes just like I was instructed and here are the latest pictures. I read the directions and did exactly step-by-step. What they told me to do. I have extremely purple roots in places and the rest of my hair was stripped of all of its color. It also dried my hair out so much I had to layer it and now I have a mullet. The last photo was what the color looked like before I used this hair color. I didnβt know it would strip out all of that violet color that I had. I just wanted to cover my roots as you can see in the three prior photos, my hair is brownish silver now with purple roots. I am extremely unhappy.

Does not damage hair!
I have colored my hair since I was in high school. My favorite shades tend to be very dark or very light (maybe because my hair is very medium). The warmth in my hair pulls orange very easily. I over-processed and burned my hair badly last summer. It is still very short, but I have been cutting and growing it back to health. I really wanted to go platinum but I was afraid I would ruin my hair again. This product was VERY easy to use. I liked the way it foamed up on the scalp and provided much better root coverage. I followed the touch up directions because my hair was already colored a lightish ash blonde. 45 min on the roots and 20 min pulled thru to the ends. The ends came out spectacular and stayed soft. There was zero evidence of breakage or damage and my hair still feels healthy. My roots came out much the way they would had I bleached them, in a nutshell, banana yellow. However, I ran cooling violet toner thru it and it corrected the warmth. I find with my hair a toner is mandatory to cut yellow/orange. This product was much easier and much gentler than bleach. I will never bleach again and I am happy I found this product. My only caution is that if you struggle with yellow after bleaching, add a toner as a second step. Photo above of result.

Solid 3-3.5 Stars - Not Bad
Giving a solid 3-3.5. I never leave reviews, but some of the reviews on here seem a bit ignorant, so I wanted to make sure that people knew what they were getting into and to read the instructions and other reviews... 1) I used metallic rose gold, and the woman on the package pictured here has different colored hair vs the woman on the package I received. Not a big deal, but I may not have purchased. 2) I said scr*w it and went for it anyway. It's a bit darker, but the color is actually nice and it will fade some. This is not a pastel color initially, or at least it isn't on me, and the ends of my hair are straight up bleached. 3) YOU HAVE TO CUT THE TIP OFF THE BOTTLE TO GET THE COLOR OUT. My package noted this, but some people I guess didn't read the instructions?? 4) It says you don't need to condition, but I indeed conditioned afterward as my hair did not feel soft at all. Felt fine after conditioning and didn't change the color. 5) It didn't cover my grey hairs, which was the most disappointing part for me as that is why I bought it. I had been using the Moroccanoil hair color depositing mask (which works great in my opinion for temporary color), but it didn't cover greys, and it legit says it will in the description. I left it on for the full amount of time, but I still have some greys poking out at my roots, which is making me crazy because I tried to really scrub it in there. It looks like they picked up a tinge of color but nothing compared to the rest of my hair. 6) THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE PERMANENT! It is only supposed to last a few weeks. Buy permanent dye if you want it to last longer or buy the Moroccanoil mask if you want to keep refreshing. All in all, I think it went well - just wish those pesky grey were covered better, and I'd bump to 4 stars. If you don't like it, it's only temporary.

Color matches the box. Great!
So happy I found this color. Finding a permanent deep purple is difficult. Usually they come out burgundy or or fade out in a few washes to an awful pink. My hair color was ombre, purple to blue. A semi permanent Splat mistake. The colors were pretty but the dye is a nightmare. Bleeds constantly, if you sweat, or shower, it bled. Forget swimming smh. Anyhow, I needed to rid of the nightmare for a permanent color. Love plum purple so this was great. I did use a clarify shampoo the days leading up to my dyeing. The splat of course still in full bleeding color but no hairspray or anything weighing down my hair. I bleached 24hrs after clarifying to dull the splat. Bleach barely touched the splat but I figured that would happen as splat doesn't penetrate like hair dye, it's more a fabric dye. After the bleaching, I dryed my hair and used my flat iron to thin my hair and straighten any friz or curls cuz my hair is both frizzy and curly. For me straightening helps when I dye my hair, the dye can spread further. My hair is mid back length. So with straight, dulled ombre splat hair I went ahead and applied this dye as instructed by the pamphlet in the box. One box did all my hair cuz as I said, I used my straight iron to thin my hair down. (If your hair is long and thick, you'll need 2 boxes or try a flat iron.) I waited 30 mins and washed it out, added a dye safe shampoo and rinsed as instructed. Even tho it said there's conditioner in the product, I still added a little to my hair then rinsed. The color is amazing. It's just like it shows on the box. I'm so happy with this dye. So happy it got rid of the splat menace. My hair is soft and the perfect plum purple, not burgundy or pink. The dye smelled great too. Wasn't chemical smelling, but more shampoo sweet smelling. I'm buying this color again to have a backup for when I need to touchup my roots.

The best
The product is very good, the color is exactly the same as in the photo. But I don't like the delivery method: I specified that I needed delivery to my door, but twice my packages were left at the mail room, and as a result, one of them was stolen.
