These do not provide 24 dB attenuation
I tried them at home first, and I can attest that the sound is clear and undistorted -- because they don't any attenuation of sound! Was supposed to use these at a concert, but I wouldn't trust my ears to them. Not recommended.

Comfortable all day
Unlike most reviewers I am using these earplugs in a traditional noisy work environment rather than for musical or concert events. The "Mumba High Fidelity Earplugs" surprised me. These earplugs provide a different experience than traditional foam plugs. They are as soft as foam plugs, but don't require the squishing and pushing that common ear plugs do. They fit easily into my ears, and made only a slight difference in the quality of normal sounds (TV, speech and other sound) surprisingly, loud sounds were appropriately attenuated and much less annoying. (trucks and machinery)These earplugs are soft and clear, allowing you to see the sound filtering mechanism. Their comfort and passing of normal sounds allows me to wear them for long periods without needing to remove them to hear normal conversation or communicate with co-workers.Yes, these cost more than the earplugs most employers provide, but the increased ability to hear normal sounds is well worth the cost.Recommended for musicians or concertgoers, but these also work well for those that want protection from loud sounds while being able to interact with others.

Love these for concerts!
These ear plugs work great for helping to control music to an acceptable volume at loud events without totally distorting and ruining the sound quality. These sound much better compared to cheap foam earplugs though still not as great as wearing nothing but if you want to protect your hearing these are the way to go. Only thing to be careful of is that they can insert quite deep into your ear canal and then be hard to remove because the pull tab on them is quite small.

They work, but not a huge improvement over foam plugs
I have auditory sensitives so wearing earplugs to live music events is a must. I got these to see if they were an improvement over the disposable foam plugs I typically use. Tested using over the ear headphones and my surround sound TV. There is a reduction in volume wearing the plugs vs not. However, I didn't find it to be a significant improvement over the foam plugs. The comfort level is about the same. I appreciate that they are reusable and come with a carrying case so I can leave them in my purse and not worry about forgetting them. For those reasons, this set might appeal to people. But I will keep looking for something with a bit more impedance.

These are the Ones to Get and I've Tried All the Highest Rated Ones. Not Just for Concerts.
Out of all the mainstream fidelity earplugs these are my absolute favorite and I have no reservation recommending them. In fact I was a customer well before these came up on Vine and was overjoyed when they became available under the program. So what's so good about these? If I had to rank what I love about these it would be this (in descending order):1) They preserve as much of the sound you want while removing most of the sound you don't want. This is a delicate balance because if you're like me you like your music to come through loud and clear. Problem is loud normally means hearing loss. These do a really good job (in fact better than most others) at getting as much music to your brain as safely possible.2) These are among the most comfortable plugs to use. You are provided with 2 sets of plugs which should cover the ear canal size for most people. They are super soft and once in you pretty much forget about them.3) You can remove the sound control insert and address cleaning the plugs without risk of clogging up the sound filter. A lot of cleaning solutions will leave at least some residue and if you can't rinse thoroughly it will clog up the works. Being able to clean the plug without the insert is a winner in my opinion.4) I love the packaging. That little metal canister is great. It protects the device and carabiner makes it easy to tote around. I do recommend if you get really sweaty to pull them out of the canister and wash/dry before sealing them in.So what do I use mine for? Mainly for listening to music while I ride my motorcycle. It allows me to hear most of the music without most of the wind noise. As I mentioned I've tried several sets and these are my absolute favorite. For me these have also worked well at the gun range when I need an extra set. I've not attended a live concert but based on my use they should work fine. I'd even use these for sporting events like drag/car races but I haven't been to those in a long time.Yes in the end I can highly recommend these wherever hearing protection is desired and particularly when you'd like to filter out the bad noise while listening to good sound.

2 levels of protection
These resusable High Fidelity earplugs give you 2 levels of protection. There are Concert Earplugs, and Musicians Ear Plugs. The higher level of protection is great at concerts, since the sound is so overwhelming. No ringing afterwards which was welcome. The lesser protection is great for musicians, you want to hear what you're playing, but prevents the drummer from overshadowing what you need to hear. The metal carry case is perfect for one pair at a time.

Comfortable and effective
The sound is still great through these, even more clear than just not having any ear plugs! The case is a nice touch, pretty easy to get out of the tube. having different sizes of ear pieces is nice since the small ones work better with one ear while the large ones work better with my other ear.
