UAG Designed for Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus/Pro 7/Pro 6 Case Plasma - Built-in Hand Strap & Shoulder Strap Rugged Military Graded Protective Cover, Ice

I have this case on a Surface Pro 2017. The Plasma variant, in comparison to the Metropolis, has much sturdier rubber guards. The Microsoft Keyboard fits perfectly on this case. The handgrip is extremely useful, and the shoulder strap is optional to put on. The big bad about this case is that it will not sit flat on top of a desk to write on. The pen holder is pretty convenient and grips on tight even after a hundred uses. The kickstand is also very sturdy. The design on the shoulder strap, however, requires the case to be taken off to install, but can be uninstalled while the case is on. Due to its design, the shoulder strap can indeed uninstall itself on one side! I would take caution if using the should strap, and reinforcing the loop to buckle with some tape!

Great case! The handle is awesome - it's like a pop socket on a large scale. The strap is nice as well for transportation. I like that it is drop proof and that there are other mechanisms in place to help me from dropping the surface pro. The small strap on the corner to secure the keyboard is a bit small, and sometimes does not hold the keyboard in place well, but it's not a huge deal.

This case will do a great job protecting you tablet. There are some design flaws I just cannot overlook: 1) The rubber proximal to the center of the edge on the USB-C side is flimsy. 2) Nylon string is used to attach the shoulder strap at each end. 3) The corner band used to secure the keyboard to the screen is ineffective. This case has some great features: 1) The vents are well placed. 2) Will securely hold all pens. 3) The adjustable hand strap rotates and built to last. 4) the kickstand adds protection and functionality. Overall I give this a B. It will protect the table while maintaining functionality.

Where to begin, I am a probation officer and use my tablet in the field all the time. I got tired of trying to find something flat to type on or holding it by the edge. This case has solved a lot of my issues. 1. No big bag to carry since the strap is long enough to allow adjustments for my daily needs. 2. Padded strap for 1 handed use that does not strain my wrist or hand. 3. A sturdy holder for the pen. No product is perfect and I do have some issues. 1. I do wish the strap for the keyboard was better. It only holds a small corner and sometimes the keyboard will fall off. I fixed this by using a hair tie to go around the sides. 2. The kickstand only goes to one position. Not a deal breaker for me, but it would be nice if they added other view angles l. 3. The carry strap is attached by thin strings. I would like to see thicker or at least quick disconnect attachments on future models. The product works and the things I listed as cons are just me picking something to complain about.

This protective cover does it all. Completely protects the tablet, has a kick stand, and I LOVE the swiveling Velcro hand loop on the back. It makes it so comfortable to hold and use the device, at the same time. It also comes with a shoulder strap, so you don't haveto have a sleeve/case to transport it. My only complaint is that it's very difficult to remove the device, once you've put it on. Other than that, it's a perfect choice.

For anyone that is prone to dropping tablets this case is perfect to protect. He doesn’t use the start but it would have come in handy when he was on the walker to move his tablet. Easy to install and durable.

The case is ok. I was surprised to find that it only covers the back of the tablet. I was expecting more coverage, especially for the money. The magnet I mentioned in the title broke off for no apparent reason. I found the magnet completely by accident stuck to a metal surface I was using the tablet on. At the time I found the magnet, I didn't realize it was off my UAG cover. It wasn't until later I realized where the magnet I found came from. There are two magnets on the leg (used to prop the screen up so you can read it from a seated position) that hold the leg closed when in transport mode. A piece of plastic that holds the magnet to the leg broke off on one side of it allowing the magnet to fall out. Again, this is a total mystery to me as to why this failure occurred. Beyond the disappointment of that, attempting to contact UAG has not proven to be easy either. There is no e mail listed for customer service, just one for legal. The explanation above that e mail says to send an e mail if you need more answers, so I did send my warranty request to the legal address. Also, from Amazon there is a link to contact customer service but that opens a second page that never loads beyond "checking your computer" presumably for viruses. They do list a phone number that I will try tomorrow, but being as it is after hours when I had time to attempt to make contact, the phone number was of no help tonight. Hopefully this is an isolated incident and they will take care of the problem. For what it is, although it only covers the back, it does seem to be sufficient. Customer service is as important as a quality product so we will see how they deliver in that department. I will base my repurchase intent and recommendations based on their response.

Almost everything is great. The over arm attachment is easily connecter and removed and the cover is great. However the cord used to hold the keyboard in place when walking is next to useless. Trying to create a workaround to make the product good for all senarios. Generally pretty happy

Good sturdy case, I really love it, wish hand grip could be removable as it keeps it wobbling on plain surface while writing.

Ich benutze das Surface als Trainer bei Schwimmwettkämpfen und habe es bisher dabei zwischen fünf bis sieben Stunden in der Hand halten müssen. Das merkte ich dann schon unangenehm im Handgelenk? Ich hätte bisher das Vorgängermodell dieser Hülle und das Tablet dann mit einem Gummiband an der Hand "gesichert". Mit dieser neuen Hülle erlebe ich einen Quantensprung in Hinblick Bedienung und Tragekomfort! Der Schultergürtel optimiert das noch. Einziger Nachteil des Tragegurtes ist, dass er nicht "mal eben" zu entfernen ist. Hierzu muss man die Hülle vom Tablet lösen. Aber bei dem extremen Zugewinn an Tragekomfort und verbesserter Bedienbarkeit nehme ich das gerne in Kauf. Und noch ein Hinweis zu zur Montage der Hülle, wenn man mit Sinn und Gefühl an die Sache geht, dauert es keine 20 Sekunden und das Surface sitzt sicher und bestens geschützt in der Hülle, bzw. ist wieder davon befreit.

Emballage (Amazon) & packaging (UAG) impeccable, arrivé dans les temps (merci les Amazon Lockers !!!) Installation du Surface dans la protection : on cale un côté, puis insère la bas, puis on clipse le bord supérieur ... et hop c'est en place. (faut vraiment avoir deux mains gauches pour se rater ou déformer l'écran ... c'est ajusté mais prévu pour s'installer sans dégrader le produit ou l'écran) Par contre, en effet, à sortir c'est beaucoup plus délicat, car les bords renforcés sont costauds ... donc bien penser à installer la carte micro-SD avant. Une fois dedans, on peut secouer dans tous les sens, le Surface n'a plus envie de bouger ou de s'échapper. Le look est superbe (j’adore le petit côté militaire "je suis prêt à faire des relevés avec mon surface dans une zone radioactive !" :-) ) La "poignée" ou Handstrap est parfaite, la zone ou l'on place la paume est caoutchoutée et rugeuse, pas de risque que ca glisse, même si on a la main moite ... le strap se vérouille par velcro et est assez large pour ne pas fatiguer la main ... il y a même de crans sur le système rotatif qui permet de stabiliser l'écran dans la position choisie. Le poids ... mouais ... quand on soulève les 798 grammes d'une main ... faut pas être culturiste pour supporter le poids supplémentaire de la protection (et croyez moi, je suis loin d'avoir les avant-bras de Vin Diesel ... :-/ ) Livré avec le shoulder strap ... bon là too much ... se balader avec le surface en sac a main ... ... je laisserai ma femme compléter l'avis hein ... Sinon il est bien fini et semble solide. Au final, un produit de qualité, protection au top pour un look militaire (bon, ok, faut aimer ... non madame, ils le font pas rose bonbon avec des cœurs kawaii et des licornes ...) parfaitement complété par le clavier qui en position fermée (petit élastique avec une tirette pour le verrouiller) protège l'écran. Je peux enfin vadrouiller avec mon surface dans la main sans aucun risque ... (si ce n'est un écran bleu ... mais ça c'est un autre problème ... :-) ) Je recommande chaudement !
