does the job helps reduce sludge etc, always use it B4 every oil change

Just add to warm engine oil already in and let car stand on tick over for 5 to 10 mins and it drains so much sludge out leaving the oil ways etc clean.Only problem was it wasn’t packed properly one bottle had a small puncture leaked out Postie not happy, even after offering a replacement I agreed but never arrived.Product good suppliers not so much.. shame

I have been told by one or two old mechancs that they do not like to use an oil flush before and oil change on older cars as this can remove the very gunge which might be sealing old worn seals, but I decided nevertheless to use one of the various brands and have experienced no problems on cars with 100k ot over 200k miles.I always use the best oils. They cost more, but as a DIY job it saves paying a very high labour charge, and I like to know that the job has been done correctly.

I use in my rav4 diesel to be sure to get the last of the dirt out of the oil system, with these engines being turbo charged this will clean the turbo bearings. Turbo showing no sign of wear after 85000 miles- used in conjunction with STP diesel oil additive for 14 years now. Car uses next to no oil between changes every 5000 miles, the toyota 10000 recommended is far too long as 2 years on my driving
