Won't work unless you install an app on your phone first.
It's good but it needs an app to be installed on the phone before it will work. I need to be able to upload photos to other people's phones several times a day and none of them have the app so for me it's no use. If you are using it to transfer to your own phone and/or tablet this is a good buy though

Issue resolved
This reader does not recognise music or files on my iPad mini 2 it only recognises photo and video files. However, I have since been contacted by the seller who is making every effort to resolve my problems.

4 times better in a small package
I have a laptop, pc, iPhone, OnePlus 1 and OnePlus 5.It was a revelation to find a SD card reader that should work in all of my appliances.The Card Reader works flawlessly and has been perfect for backing up my phone.

Excellent gadget. It Does have all most common ports. Usb,microsd reader,micro USB,C and apple's lighting.I have only tried to formatting 64GB Msd and temperature where is card located considerably higher than I was expecting.I was able to use one phone to charge another after selecting usb only for charging.Only downside is due structure(as one solid part) in situations where you use it to connect two different devices and each has different high there is risk to damage your port because all wait device lies on port unless you hold it or support it. There is no problem if you use it as card reader. I would not recommend to use it as On the Go.I bought it mainly for emergency purposes and easily match my expectations.
