These Fitvids weight plates really impressed me. The rubber coating feels durable, the edges are smooth, and they slide onto the barbell with no wobble or weird fit issues. They look and feel like plates that cost a lot more. For anyone building a home gym, this is a fantastic value — solid construction, accurate weight, and a price that’s hard to beat. If you want dependable plates without overspending, these are a great choice.

These plates were definitely a steal. They are large and on the thin side which is what was looking for. Only down side is the horrible burned rubber scent,however, considering the good price on these, I'll just let them air out on my patio. They'll be fine.

Rubber! That's what a bumper plate is made of! As a 63-year-old female novice weight trainer, these plates are the best-kept secret around. I appreciate that the diameters for the different weights are the same, and I plan to buy all the sizes for my home gym as I continue to grow in strength. The plates are not oily or too dry, and they don't reek to high heaven, as rubber tires do. I'm sold on the Fitvids brand because they offer a wide range of weights.

Good quality item for the money. Like it is always mentioned there is some rubbery smell but not overbearing and I do recommend washing them off with soap and water. Overall a great item.

Great set but, the 10lb plates hubs are slightly to small to fit the bar and I did not receive bar clamps, if the clamps were supposed to be packaged with the bar, it was delivered in a destroyed cardboard tube so im sure they fell out somewhere along the journey. Besides my 2 stated issues' Definitely worth the buy, even though the bars packaging was destroyed nothing in the order appears damaged.

Nice weights

Can't beat the price for these. It's hard to find anything for $1 per pound. As others have said, they are coated with some chemical that really reeks (and I have no idea how toxic it is, so I handled these with vinyl gloves). I washed them all down with dishwashing liquid before use and the stink dissipated fairly quickly. Plates shipped in pairs were weighed and all were accurate enough and closely matched. Plates shipped individually all had a tag indicating they had been weighed and were also closely matched. I can't say if the plastic is tough enough to survive having a loaded barbell dropped to the floor, but it seems if that's your style you'll also be lifting on a moderately padded floor.

Set came damaged and also had a strong scent that even after days of airing out did not go away. We ended up returning this product

Flimsy and bendy. Not a true bumper plate.

Great quality and price! I recommend for affordable good quality weights!
