Very Useful (and another use for it)
Although I do not use this for bar weights, I do use it for my pushup bars (handles) It was very hard on my hands to use the pushup handles, even with padded weight gloves. I cut the ends off with a sharp butcher knife, which went very easy, and use them on the pushup bars. Now I can do my pushup with zero pain in my hands and palms.

Comfortable squats!
The last thing you want when you’re focusing on executing your squats properly is a bar digging into your shoulder blades and this pad fixes that very well! Super nice and comfortable thick foam which bounces back well creates that layer in between. The included Velcro straps are helpful in reducing the amount of roll around happening but don’t eliminate it completely, but is never a nuisance. If you’re looking for bar padding this is a great option!

No more pains with the gains
Okay, if you're all about those gains, you need this squat pad. The padding is thick enough to cushion your back without feeling like you're lifting on a cloud. It's ergonomic, so it fits snugly on the bar, no slipping or sliding. Perfect for hip thrusts, squats, you name it. Say goodbye to those dreaded barbell bruises—I know I did.*This product was given to me through the Amazon Vine program for my honest and unbiased opinion. I have no affiliation with the company/seller. I hope you find this review helpful in your decision-making process. *

Can’t beat the price
I was going to give this 4 stars since you have to occasionally readjust it to keep it from slipping off the bar, but you literally cannot beat this price point. It’s a great product compared to more expensive options. Honestly, it’s a great product in general. Just slips a little bit, but not often enough to take off a star. Overall, and especially for beginners/ at-home gym addition, I’d recommend getting this.

Buckle up for leg day!
Super Solid did just as their name states.......This is a solid squat bar pad. Made with thick foam and covered in a smooth rubber outer wrapping, it's soft and comfortable on your shoulders throughout the entire squat set. The two detachable velcro straps help secure the pad firmly around the bar to keep it in place and prevent rolling during the workout. All in all, this is a good squat pad that I think will last the average home gym user quite some time.My only negatives relate to durability and cleaning. The central cut-out (where your neck goes) is bare porous foam. So I'm a little suspicious that sweat is going to soak up in there like a sponge and make it funky (we all know what musty/sweaty smell I'm talking about). The other worry is over the detachable velcro closure straps. One:...when tightened they dig down into the smooth outer layer leaving marks. Yes, those marks bounce back out, but over time they might eventually wear through. Two:...the detachable straps are just that. Detached! I don't know about you, but I'm pretty famous for misplacing just one piece of something. Now, would having zero straps really effect how you use this bar pad? My guess is no. We've all done the sliced pool noodle because we were too cheap to buy a real bar pad once or twice. Same theory would apply here. The straps are definitely nice though for holding the bar & pad as one and preventing rolling; so losing or misplacing one would be a decent sized bummer. Also, make sure you secure those straps with the metal buckle up on the top and not down. My guess is even with a soft pad that the metal buckles would dig pretty hard into your shoulders doing squat sets.Taken care of, this really is a "Super Solid" bar pad that'll put the comfort back into your squat sets!
