Columbia Women’s Sparks Lake Jacket

Love a good deal! For some reason this jacket in my size was $59! I couldn’t believe my luck. Feels good. Nice color. Warm enough for SC but can’t see anyone in Northern States being overly warm in this with their winter temps. But with the size I got I can wear over a hoodie. Great jacket for the price I purchased for!

First of all I kept the jacket, it's a very well made and flattering Colombia jacket but it is NOT a coat, it is a jacket. It is more on the thinner side and I found with just a tshirt type material under it, it was not warm at all, it has to be worn with a heavier weight long sleeve shirt or thermal under it. I love love the fur collar and way the jacket looks on and fits BUT not for 16 degree weather and lower. I'm 5'4" 150 and purchased a size L it fits great. Love Colombia outerwear!

Bought this for trip to Alps in Switzerland. 26-35 degrees daily. I was warm/comfortable to just stand and got hot if I had to do stairs/walk around. This jacket seems to weigh nothing, yet performs great in the cold. The button up neck added a designer touch. In Paris where it continued to snow and also the wind was howling, the button up neck worked better than a scarf. Nice to be able to remove the hood. It reattached easily. The only thing I would want in the next jacket, is the addition of snaps along side the zipper for when you started to warm up. True to size, detailing in the back gave you a contour for this longer jacket. Darlene in Ventura

I ordered a large and am 5'3 - 153 lbs. and busty. It is lightweight which I love. Once Michigan comes out of the winter deep freeze (which I prefer a heavier, longer coat for that), this coat fits perfectly and is warm & quite flattering. No problems wearing a sweathirt underneath. I wanted a color besides the popular black and other dark colors because not only do I wear it in moderately cold temps in winter, but it's a nice early-Spring color too. The special thermal shield partial lining is placed where it counts and I think very helpful. I haven't had any problems with the zipper and the sleeves aren't too long. I really like this pretty, functional little coat. It's very comfortable and doesn't make me look like I have extra "fluff". No bulk. Highly recommended.

I have been wearing this coat a lot lately and I love it. It is very warm and comfortable. I also love the color and the fact that the fur is detachable for washing.

This is a great coat and keeps me warm in wind and cold. I love it!

This Jacket is true to size. I ordered the 1x because I am very tall 6’1 and it fits perfectly in the arms and torso. It is not too big but does have enough room that I can wear a bulky sweater underneath. The jacket is nicely made and very stylish. I o1rdered the olive green and black one. I usually have order tall sizes in jackets and extra large so I was afraid the 1x would be too large. It fits well. If you are looking for a warm fall and winter coat this one is great.

This is quite possibly the warmest jacket I have ever owned. (at age 73 years old that is saying a lot) I purchased it in the color truffle which is beautiful and I have received compliments every time I have worn the jacket. Pennsylvania winters can be quite cold and windy and this jacket blocks all air flow. I have to take it off when I am in a store because I get too warm. I am confident when subzero weather arrives I will be toasty warm. The sleeve openings are designed where no air goes up my arm . The hood is trimmed in man-made fur and it absolutely looks and feels like the real thing. (and no animal was harmed) I am absolutely happy with this purchase. The price was good also. I expect many years of wear out of this lovely jacket. You can never go wrong buying Columbia!

I was looking for the true winter jacket and from the look of it on the picture it promised to deliver. In person, however, the jacket is super thin - it must have been some kind of error that this jacket is described as "insulated" because it is not. Don't get me wrong, it is not a windbreaker but definitely not for winter, maybe for early fall and spring. Ok, maybe for British Columbia winter but it won't work for winter in any other province. It is super thin and lacks insulation at all and Omni-heat cannot compensate for it. I would not try to wear it outside when it is colder than +6C...Yes, the jacket is pretty but the design and hood and fur (faux fur, thank you for caring for the animals, Columbia!) promise warmth but do not deliver...Size-wise, I would say that it is true to size. But again, so thin and not warm!

This is my second coat, same style, different color. One of the lightest, warmest coats I have every had.
