Tried three different heaters before this, and this has been the most consistent and keeping the tank at the right temperature! I am now using it for both my tanks! Easy to set up, and I love that the temperature remote is outside the tank for easy adjustment. It's sturdy, easy to use functionality, quite large but manageable even in a smaller tank! I would say great value for you money!

Works so much better than my last one which exploded when the water dropped below the level of the heater.

In terms of actual purpose, this unit ticks all the right boxes: compact, user-friendly, functional. I especially like the little controller on the cable to change temperature and the visible gauge on the device is very helpful know what the measurement is at a glance.My only gripe, the reason I dropped a star, is that the unit has the words "Aquarium Heater 50W" in large white letters on the front which, when installed in the tank, very much spoils the nice aquatic environment I've so carefully created. I don't know why it's there ...... I know what the device is; I bought it! If you have to name it, put it on the back, where it can't be seen by aquarium-viewers! I mean, my tank cleaning unit doesn't have the words "Aquarium Pump" emblazoned on the front! In fact, it has nothing written on it at all so that it merges in with the setup ........

Its good to see the temperature at a glance, would have been 5 stars if the cable was longer, that's the only thing that let's it down used in a bio orb tank

The item sent had used stain marks in front side. When connected it would not work at all. I then initiated a return process. Then I saw on the plug a fuse. I checked the fuse and it was faulty. I replaced with a new fuse and the item worked. Please check, do quality control before sending faulty fuse items.
