It took a little fiddling about to get it set to where my laptop won’t be catapulted by me but I’m so happy! Making a little DIY desk so I can work from my little flat. This has now transformed my tiny table into something that can now hold my laptop, keyboard and mouse. Me (as a girl) found set up a tad confusing but only because I worried about the spare parts. This set comes with 2 types of fittings for desks, I used the clamp but from what I can see there is a bolt too?Some people mentioned not being able to adjust the arm but you have to tighten it/ slacken it with the alan key. (there’s obvious arrows) I recommend doing this before putting your laptop on or you’ll be in trouble like I almost was. The tension isn’t set so can spring back!Test how slow the arm moves up and down and make sure you set the laptop stand part so it’s level and not a crazy angle or it’ll fly off - It took me a moment ok? It’s well built and has flexibility of full rotation!The only downside is the laptop ‘clamps’ at the side, I wish these could be screwed down as they have been designed as plastic ‘snap-on’ pieces which clip onto the metal laptop base. This was frustrating me a bit as every time I tightened them they would fly off. If I could screw them down I’d be a lot happier - Might get some M3 tape just to secure them as when taking my laptop off they ping off and it’s fiddly to clip them back on.Otherwise I fully recommend for transforming small places (or to use on proper desks) to add some height or for my purpose to bring the screen closer to my face.

Amazing peice of equipment. Well made & faily easy to assemble. Instructions are "ok" Good value for money cpmpared to other makes.

I'm with Stuart C who made a very good observation about the lack of proper support at the bottom of the laptop stand - it's just two little rubber stoppers but there's no rim to stop a laptop from sliding over the edge of them should someone accidentally knock the laptop or the stand.Assembly was challenging to begin with because I think they put things a little backwards as far as the desk clamp is concerned, so managed to find an easier way to assemble it. The rest was a piece of cake.Do be mindful of the spring loaded arm which will be set to knock out if you aren't careful. I would recommend adjusting the torque to the minus side before attempting any adjustments.Also, be careful when opening the box and taking things out, the main pole for the stand ended up on the floor and the cap at the top of it ended up being damaged as a result.All things aside, this is a good build, some minor tweaks would make it an even better stand with better capabilities but for the price it's a fairly reasonable piece of equipment.

Very strong and sturdy. Took me all of 10 mins to install. Secures the laptop very well and has an excellent range of motion for the arm and viewing angle. This mount does have some weight to it.

Really impressed by this.I know it shouldn't matter, but sometimes the way something is packaged really tells you about the quality the product is going to be. This was packaged so well, that somehow i knew i was going to be pleased with the item, and i was correct.Easy to put together, and it felt sturdy straight away. Well thought out design, and does the job i wanted perfectly. Would 100% recommend.

Was suprised by the weight, when this arrived, but this is a very substantial and well made stand. Once the spring tension was adjusted, my laptop was very secure. It can be positioned easily and does not move around in use.Not the cheapest, but well worth the asking price

Utterly useless and without doubt the worst item I’ve ever had the misfortune to purchase.The instructions and diagrams were incomprehensible and we were unable to complete the final piece of assembly; we called some friends over and they failed to assemble it too. Threw the whole lot in the bin. Good riddance.

I was pleasantly surprised.Didn’t expect it to be any good for the price.It’s decent with durability.As long as not being used for anything too heavy.It does the job well.
