real nice weeder. make sure you check it out.
Very good quality. I have more weeds than the average customer. I have tried several weeders but this may be the best. some pointers. This one is sharp. some other brands are just a V without sharpness. doesn't work unless sharpThis brand is chro9me plated. Heavy chrome where the soil doesn't stick as much . If the steel is painted the soil sticks much more than a chrome one.The handle is wood with shelac this is actually easier on your hand than a plastic handle I was concerned that platic would be more durable but the wood is is actually just about 1 inch longer than my old plastic handled one and this gives a little more leverage when cutting a dandelion.I highly recommend this one.

Makes quick work of weeds and mystery growth.
I live in a house that's part of an HOA.mThey take care of the lawn and landscaping. Because of the size of the complex, they never pull weeds. They chop them with the trimmer. Lame. So every time I open the garage door and walk to the mailbox I do a quick scan of the lawn. It's not that big. Any weeds or mystery plants get "The Treatment" using this hand weeder. I am absolutely winning the war against them thanks to this tool. It takes under 10 minutes a week. Now, the weeds tremble when Inopen the garage door and walk out. They are doomed!

Great Gardening Tool for anyone
This is a great gardening tool for any level of gardener.I researched a couple dozen variants of this tool before making my purchase and I’m very pleased with my decision.Other similar products had numerous reviews complaining about the tines breaking off or the tool snapping at the handle. This tool didn’t have any of those complaints and is very well built. The shaft and head are very solid and I have yet to encounter a situation where I worried I might break it. It definitely helps pull the whole weed out and even loosen the dirt around weeds or in tight areas to make sure you don’t leave bits behind. It’s easy to clean and hasn’t shown any signs of rusting. I use it off and on most weeks and expect it to last quite a while. Hopefully, for years to come.

Buyer Beware! ~ Not What is Advertised
Well, I hate to say it, but the one negative review that said this wasn't a True Temper tool was 100% correct. The label says Seymour, and it appears to be identical to the seven dollar Seymour digger that is a Prime item. The seller does say no returns on this closeout item, which would be fine if it was as advertised; then it might be worth $20.00. I even tried to order a $7.00 Seymour to compare, only to find out that the item can't be shipped to me (or anyone else in my area). So, if you are one of the fortunate few that can get a cheap Seymour, I say do it. The seller of this "True Temper" should be banned from Amazon. I'm sure what they sent will still unearth dandelions, but the hole for hanging is much larger than it needs to be, ( 3/4 inch across and a full inch from the end ) and when gripping the handle you feel the hole. What really irks me is there appears to be no recourse, as I can't return it, and I can't confirm conclusively that it is an inferior item. Oh well, the dandelions aren't getting any shorter. Live and learn.

This is HORRIBLE!
This is not the weeder in the photo nor does it match the description. The handle is such a rough, unfinished wood that I am afraid I will get splinters just touching it. It is truly horrible and NOT the TruTemper weeder that is advertised, pictured or described. The label says SEYMOUR. It is certainly not worth the $20 being charged. Amazon has a Seymour weeder for $6. I ordered a TruTemper and expected TruTemper quality.

Eat My Weeds
Great tool. Lost one before we ordered this. Sturdy and feels good in your hand. Gets the weeks out - goes to the depth of the root. I also use it to open mole mounds so that I can get anti-mole products to the place they need to be without churning up the lawn.

The Perfect Tool for Weeding
I love this tool. It looks so simple, but it is the only tool with the right leverage to get all of the dandelion root, or uproot many other kinds of weeds and unwanted grasses. I had a tool like this for years but somehow managed to misplace it. I finally gave up looking and purchased this True Temper weeder that has a very nice solid wood handle and is built strong and sturdy. I placed a wrist strap through the hole in the end of the handle in hopes that it will be easier to find if I misplace it. There's really nothing like it. I choose not to spray poison in my flower beds and I actually like to pull weeds. If you like to keep your flower beds weed free, this is the most satisfying tool out there.

Old fashioned, well made
I use this for weeding, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do, freeing up the roots so you can pull the weed out with roots intact. Very well made with wood and chromed metal. Tip is shaped like a snake's tongue and sharp. This replaces my old one that I lost, and it's perfect.
