I recently purchased a mount for my mobile phone which was a suction cup style. Unfortunately, it would not stick to my dashboard, so I was intrigued to find this one which had a metal hook which secured behind the air vent. It is very easy to install and once complete the whole phone cradle is extremely secure. The only slight downfall is that you are unable to raise or lower the actual vent flaps, but that is not a problem for me as I can use the one on the passenger side as it is only me who drives the car.Once the phone was mounted in the cradle, it was extremely secure, and I love the release mechanism which is a small button behind the cradle which you press and the sides of the mount slowly expand to release the phone.Overall an excellent phone amount and I would be happy to recommend it to anyone.

Sits on the air vent of my Citroen Picasso as solid as a rock, extremely easy to adjust for different phone sizes and looks good. That little button on the back that releases the spring allowing the clamp to expand is simple magic. Great stuff!

Hard to mount on vent Toyota Yaris, not very stable for this car, excellent product and very nice holder.

So iver the years ive bought many car holders, specifically the vent ones cuz i dont like the restricted view on the suction ones, and i must say i tried so many yet a small bump or a sharp turn and those air vent holders flew off and would hit either me or the floor, however this one is amazing, not onky does it stay in place even with big bumps and even sharper turns but doesn't even budge, i bet the onky thing that makes this budge is a harsh accident thats how good it is. Amazing performance, brilliantly easy to use and understand, amazingly versatile, and barely weights anything. Definitely a recommended product.

The Miracase 2nd Generation Phone Mount has its ups and downs. On the plus side, the materials feel decent—certainly not premium, but not the worst either. Setting it up was straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions. You can also rotate and move it around to get the perfect viewing angle, which is quite handy. The quick-release button and adjustable clip arm work well, making it easy to pop your phone in and out.However, getting it to stay put is another story. Tightening it too much bends the air vent of your car, and I felt like one more twist might snap it. To avoid that, I tightened it just enough before the bending started, but then it moves around and is loose.To solve this, I ended up attaching the piece upside down so it rests on the dashboard and doesn’t move up and down constantly. Unfortunately, it still shifts left and right. It’s bearable, but I’ve seen sturdier phone holders in other cars, so I know I’m not asking for too much here.

you do need to keep tightening the holder each time you use it but it performs well. the release button is a delayed action

This phone holder is easy to install and mounts securely to the air vent louvres. My wife loves it, it fits her first generation bmw x3 very well.
