Jabra Elite 10 True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds – Advanced Active Noise Cancelling with Dolby Atmos Surround Sound, All-Day Comfort, Multipoint, Crystal-Clear Calls – Matte Black

I have the AirPods Pro 2nd Gen, Bose QCII, Sony XM5 and now the Jabra 10s. AirPods Pro 2nd Gen – I got these first and they score near the top on everything and I probably would’ve stopped here but they just won’t stay in my left ear for more than few minutes before slipping out. There are some good aftermarket solutions that keep them in but they have to be taken off before putting the APP2Gs back into the case. Bose QCII Earbuds – I got these next. ANC is on a completely different level than anything else and the stability bands work great and go back with the buds into the case no problem. The case is definitely large, but I don’t find this that bothersome. For my ears, the sound quality is top shelf and I can get the EQ that I like even though it’s just a 3-band. I was surprised how much better they sound than the APP2Gs. Again, I would probably have stopped here, but QCII has lots of connectivity issues. They are noticeably slower to connect, sometimes only one of the two buds connects and they’ll drop connections randomly when the device is just a few inches away. It seems like this has gotten worse over time too (and no firmware updates with fixes). These would be a slam dunk if they would just make the Bluetooth work well (and with the new Ultras it seems like they are more focused on spatial audio than making BT work) Sony XM5 – I was expecting great things out of these with the ANC being touted as just a notch below the QCII and the sound quality claimed to be the best of the bunch. All I can guess is that that presumes you can get a good seal, which I could not get. They don’t fall out like APP2Gs, but they just don’t seal with Sony or even high-quality aftermarket tips. Maybe they aren’t a good match for the shape of my ears, but they seem very overrated in my book. Jabra Elite 10 – These just came out in the US and were getting good early reviews so I thought I’d give them a shot. The ANC is not Bose level, but in the same class as the APP2Gs and better than the XM5 – they seem a lot less reliant on tip-fit and passive noise reduction. The sound quality on these is amazing and with my preferred EQ these are big step up from the APP2Gs and also better than QCIIs with more detail and a wider, airier soundstage. I definitely was not expecting this level of SQ from Jabra. The Bluetooth seems well implemented on these - they connect super fast and so far the multi-point is flawless for going between an iPhone and a PC.

The Jabra Elite 10 Bluetooth earbuds have exceeded my expectations with their versatility and top-tier performance. I was initially torn between these and the Bose earbuds, but after testing both, I ultimately chose the Jabra Elite 10, and I’m very happy with my decision. One of the standout features for me is the excellent call quality. The noise-canceling technology is superb, making phone calls crystal clear, even in noisy environments. In comparison, the Jabra earbuds outperformed the Bose in this area, as the call quality was noticeably better with less background noise interfering with conversations. The audio quality is equally impressive. Whether I’m listening to music, podcasts, or watching videos, the sound is rich and well-balanced. The bass is punchy without being overwhelming, and the highs and mids are crisp, providing a well-rounded listening experience. I’ve found these earbuds to be highly versatile—they handle everything from calls to media playback effortlessly. Comfort is another area where the Jabra Elite 10 shines. They fit snugly in my ears without causing discomfort, even during extended use. I’ve worn them during workouts and long phone calls, and they remain securely in place, which is a major plus. The earbuds are also lightweight, making them easy to wear for hours on end. The active noise cancellation (ANC) is highly effective, blocking out unwanted background noise whether you’re commuting, in a busy café, or working in a noisy environment. The customizable features through the Jabra app are also a nice touch, allowing you to adjust settings to fit your preferences. Overall, the Jabra Elite 10 earbuds are an excellent choice for anyone looking for superior call quality, great audio, and reliable noise cancellation. Highly recommended for both work and leisure!

Edit 1/10/24: 1. Jabra released a new firmware v 2.1.8, which has added two big features - wind noise reduction and AAC. 2. Several new and useful small features ( like auto hearthrough in mono mode, auto volume) have been added. Original review: I own Sony WF1000XM5, Technics AZ80 and B&O Beoplay EX. I was able to comprehensively compare the Jabra Elite 10 with these. The good stuff about Jabra Elite 10: 1. Very compact and comfortable. Will fit almost everyone. The silicone ear tips are super comfy and the silicone jacket around the buds help them stay in place without falling out. 2. ANC is very good, I would say Sony XM5 level. Although Bose still has the best ANC in the market. 3. Transparency mode is good, but could be improved a bit. It is very usable and would work in most situations. 4. IPX57 waterproof buds. These are one of the few buds that have this rating, so they are great for sweaty workouts or light rain. When grossly dirty, you could rnse them under cold running water. 5. The app is decent and unlike some other brands, is easy to use with intuitive UI. 6. Qi enabled wireless charging case. 7. Excellent battery life. I regularly get 8+ hrs of battery life from earbuds in ANC mode. 8. The case is very compact and pocketable. 9. The best part - sound quality is on par with Sony and in some cases slightly better. Although IMO, the B&O Beoplay EX are still the best sounding buds. 10. Physical buttons provide tactile feedback and allow operation while wearing gloves. 11. Multi point pairing allows pairing with up to 10 devices and concurrent connectivity with up to 2 devices. The not so good stuff: 1. Unlike Sony, B&O and Technics, the magnet isn't strong enough. The buds sometimes do not align when popped into the case thus preventing the lid from closing. This requires manual positioning/adjustments. 2. Spatial audio is average. It artificially colors the music, but that's a matter of personal taste too. 3. The sound signature is on the brighter side. I had to raise the 20-250Hz frequencies a bit and lower 5-20khz frequencies. While this is purely a personal preference, a somewhat neutral sound signature would be more appropriate and universally likeable. 4. Long pressing the button on the buds can increase or lower the volume. This isn't documented in the user guide and also not configurable in the app. I accidently discovered this feature. 5. As of 11/14/23, there is no support for hi-res codecs like LDAC, AptX, etc. Only AAC and SBC are supported. 6. Multi point pairing can't be managed in the app. Like many other brands have, I would like to see the list of paired devices in the app, that can be removed or "prioritized" by the user. App shortcomings: a. The EQ needs some work. Jabra provides a 5 band EQ, which could be enhanced to 7, 8 or 10 band. b. A saved EQ setting can't be overwritten and has to be first deleted, before re-adjusting the EQ and saving it with the same name. c. Some settings are buried deep into the menus. These should be rearranged within the app by Jabra to increase intuitiveness. d. The ANC is either on or off. The level isn't user configurable. Conclusion: All of the negatives listed above are minor and could be fixed in future with app and firmware update (except for the magnet). Rumor is that Jabra has promised a software update to support the hi-res LC3 codec. Anyone looking for a really nice pair of earbuds with good waterproofing, sound quality, ANC and features, should get these earbuds. Highly recommended.

So, I've had Jabra 75t and I loved it but didn't like the "hero sidekick" style and so later I bought the Elite 7 pro. The 7 pro was overall "meh" and I really thought that was the last Jabra earbuds that I would buy and start looking elsewhere. The 7 pro had "ok" ANC and sound quality. Call quality was subpar. The biggest issue with Elite 7 pro was connectivity; open case and sometimes the earbuds won't connect. I would then have to put them back in the case and re-take them out. I would have this battle 40% of the time. Then I read reviews and watched Youtube videos of people loving the Elite 10s so I gave Jabra one last chance. And boy, I'm glad I did. These earbuds are much better than the Elite 7 Pro. So far, no connectivity issues, multipoint is seamless and fast, improved sound quality, MUCH improved call quality, improved ANC, and biggest of all.... it's WAY more comfortable. I wouldn't say ANC/SQ has earth shattering improvements but it is noticeable. However, Elite 7 pro in it's default EQ had more bass than the default EQ of the Elite 10s. However, increasing the lower end of the EQ in the Jabra app fixed that easily. Bottom line, these are very good all purpose earbuds and great improvements over the Elite 7 pros. I'm finally quite happy with Jabra again. UPDATE: Ok, so having worn these for over 2 weeks I can say that I still really like these earbuds EXCEPT that I had to update to spinfit tips to keep these earbuds in place. After an hour or so with the stock eartips, my right earbud easily falls off. I think the stock eartips are just cheap and doesn't retain the shape very well after prolong use. So, I would avoid using these in the gym or running unless you upgrade the tips to spinfit. I've been using the spinfit cp1025 and they have held in place much better (and they still fit in the case with no mods) and I feel more confident that these buds just won't fall off.

I've been using gnthe Jabra Elite 85t's for at least 5 years and they are the absolute perfect Bluetooth earbuds. Noise cancelation is as good as you can get with in ear devices and the sound quality rivals any Bose or similar top end brand for half the price. So I was bummed when I lost my pair but was resigned to just getting another. But then I saw Jabra had released the Elite 10's supposedly with better NC so I jumped at the "upgrade." Oof. I honestly thought I got a defective set or was doing something horribly wrong but they sound TERRIBLE. The noise cancelation is practically non existent despite all the software fiddling, which is also not helped by the fact that none of their new shaped tip sizes came close to comfortably fitting my ears. And don't think you can just use another set because they've made the ends a special triangular shape so only their included tips will work. Long story short one dog walk around the block and I put them right back in the box and returned them for a new set of the 85t's. Save yourself $50 and get the MUCH superior older models.

TLDR: They work just fine, as intended, but their sound isn't the best. Missing software features. ------- I've purchased a lot of Jabra Elite 85t's over the years because I've loved the sound and kept replacing them when lost or sent them through the washing machine. I decided to give the Elite 10's a try and I have to say I was disappointed. The sound signature sounded 'tinny' or small. It's like they lack the punch and depth that the 85t's had. The Elite 10's work perfectly fine, but even when fiddling with the EQ in the jabra app I couldn't give it a fuller sound. It's almost as if the speakers are holding back or maybe the construction of the housing is messing with what the ear buds are capable of. If I had to compare the sound signatures... it's like the 85t's are a sealed enclosure speaker while the 10s are a cheap desktop computer speaker, one of the ones with a hole in the back... the ones no one uses anymore. They redesigned the ear gel that's used to stick into your ear with. It's shorter and has a slanted shape from the 85t's which I didn't find all that great. Even when switching to the larger gels I could never get them to hold. I could feel the earbuds slowly slide out over time and kept having to force them back in. With the touch controls being a button, it was constant pausing or switching the ANC or Pass Through. I did end up purchasing third party memory foam ear gels which stopped the slipping out issue, but it's a mark against them that I had to even do that. Something else to note is that there's no way to turn off ANC or the Transparent Noise mode with the earbuds themselves. This was a feature on the 85t's I used a lot to conserve battery life. However, with the Elite 10's you have to go into the app every time to turn these features off manually. With the constant slipping out and pressing the buttons to mash them back in, it only made the problem worse. I've since switched to Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless earbuds. They have the depth of sound I'm looking for and don't fall out of my ear. It's what prompted me to make this review. I won't be using the Elite 10s again, they'll get stuffed in a draw and collect dust.

I have been on an ear bud journey as of late. I started with sony XM4, then went to bose QC 2, then to bose QC ultras, then sennheiser momentum 4s, and then jabra elite 10. (zero interest in XM5, outclassed) What I have come to discover is after spending well over 30 hours listening time with the elite 10s, jabra tested 62000 ears and went all in on performance with these buds and they struck wild success. These are phenomenal in most areas that matter. The two best out of all of these were the momentum 4s and the elite 10s and its not even that close. After using them both extensively, the Jabras are a bit better for my tastes. Every time i would hear a song or listen to an action sequence in a video with any other earbuds in, i found myself wanting to re-listen with the elite 10s in.. and it was always better and so impressive. They both sound beautiful.. with momentums you hear a bit more detail and it's more precise but a bit more delicate. The Jabras are much more powerful and intense but it's a bit more harmonious. Tw4s are pretty, Jabras are passionate. I like the intensity and rumbling bass and power you get from the music rather than the fine musical details. I like to feel music, not just hear it. The Sennheisers might be better for some people depending on the type of music you like but they lack bass and fullness. i keep wishing i could click their EQ up 2 more notches on the low and mid but you cant. I even ran a bass test and the Jabra are way better from 200hz down to 20hz. If you were to listen to rap or rock or pop or EDM, the Jabras are much better. they're much more powerful. Especially in the bass and mid range. While you can hear every string on a guitar with the momentum, you can't get nearly the same power from them and if you try to turn them up to max to try to match volume they get screechy. It's almost like you're in a bigger room with the momentums so there's more air and you're in a smaller room with the Jabras so it's more tight, but in a good way. The jabras are also extremely ergonomic and comfortable as long as that rubber coating doesnt peel off. The one bad thing about the jabras is the hear through... the hear through is very bad compared to the momentums and sub par compared to other offerings. it works but its not impressive. overall, these win best ear buds 2024 in my book. just wish hear through could get literally twice as loud and clear as it is.

I have had these since they were released and have been using them for about 4 days now as of this review. Surprisingly these are one of the few pairs of earbuds that stay in my ears and don’t slowly fall out like many popular brands such as AirPods Pro 2 that never stay in over time. I’ve used these to work out, casual listen, and for many work calls and web meetings. I’ve had no issues with the other parties hearing me and had no pairing problems. The only other pair of earbuds that I have found that stay in my ears is Beats Fit Pro. The multipoint on these are fantastic and switch very quickly from my windows computer to my phone if a call comes in with no lag in switching from one device to another. I was skeptical before buying them, as the multipoint experience with Soundcore Liberty 4 was not great with switching back and forth with multipoint. ANC is also excellent and on par with or better than the big brand buds in the similar price point. Hearthrough is not quite as open and realistic as AirPods Pro 2, but it is good enough and I have had several conversations with both buds in and can hear the other party clearly. Mic quality tests I’ve done have shown the mics are good for calls and my voice comes through clearly. The EQ in the phone app is a must to get these sounding as best as possible, so don’t skip playing with getting the EQ to your liking. Spatial Sound works on par with AirPods Pro 2 if that’s your thing, although my preference is to keep it off unless I’m watching a movie that it can benefit from. Battery life has been good and longer than AirPods Pro 2 and Beats Fit Pro. Overall I am very happy so far and was pleasantly surprised by Jabra. I think they have a winner with these. I paid full price for these earbuds and I was NOT compensated in any way for this review.

Very happy with noise cancellation. Sound quality is very good, but not better than Bose earbuds. These are great all rounded earbuds for calls and the little charging case is a convenient size (unlike Bose).

Excelente sonido y cancelación. Modo ambiente con volumen un poco bajo, gran autonomía. Eso si, sin audífonos de oficina a pesar de la resistencia al agua que tienen. Si no te mueves mucho, gran opción.
