Makanu Soprano Ukulele Sapele 21 Inch Uke for Beginners with Gig Bag

This is my first time owning a ukulele. I was going to get something more expensive but I came across this and saw this as a better start because if I really wanted to learn and have a ukulele this was good for getting the feel and idea of it before I dropped too much money and it was too late to turn back, ya know? So far I love it. Nothing sharp or broken. It's a beautiful shade of brown and that's what I was mainly looking for. I learned to tune it and it sounds great. Of course gotta break the strings in so I'm not expecting it to sound amazing immediately, gotta wear it down a bit like new shoes! Lol. When I leave it alone for a day or two it doesn't get out of tune like some reviews on other ukulele's I've seen. All in all a great beginner purchase and might invest in a more expensive one in the future!

This is a good product to give to kids or to just get started and introduced to a uke. The nylon strings typically don’t stay in tune, and I find myself having to tune two or three times with prolonged use. Definitely not something you’d want to go pro on, but a great starter soprano! I’d upgrade to a more expensive, better quality uke over time though. Good product for what you paid though. Also, it’s delivered in an obnoxiously huge box.

I love my ukulele! This is the first instrument I have ever bought or tried to play and it brings me endless joy. The low price made me wonder if it would be low quality but while I am no expert it does not appear to be. If yours comes out of the box sounding terrible don’t be alarmed, you just need to tune it. I am tone deaf and trying to tune it by matching sounds was frustrating and impossible. I reccomend using the app guitartuna it works for ukuleles too and really helped me. I am so excited to be playing my first songs. Would reccomend this uke to beginners!

My family has purchased many ukuleles for ourselves and others. We've purchased the Makanu brand and other brands on Amazon as well as at local stores and believe the Makanu ukuleles are a very good ukulele for a great price.

Very happy with it! There were several times where I thought I might've damaged it by dropping it but it's surprisingly durable.
