Gorgeous Quality, Many customization Options from a Great Company
For mother's day I made a star map of the day my brother was born: June 15, 1982. He was mentally & physically disabled, from a very rare genetic disorder. Mom was told "He will be lucky to live 6 months. Put him in a group home. Let him pass" As always, my mom did the opposite of what she was told. Danny lived 29 amazing years. He walked, talked, beat the odds over & over. He had an amazing life. I truly believe that Heaven sent him to my mom cause she would fight for him. So a map of how the stars lined up over Staten Island, NY, at that moment when Heaven sent him here, seemed like a perfect gift. I was drawn to West Clay for a few reasons. First, they had the most reasonable price. ($10 difference for the same size photo is a big deal to me) Second, they had a lot of customization options: the round moon shape, state shapes, cityscape backgrounds, a nice outline of the constellations (much more delicate/subtle than others), the milky way Galaxy is gorgeous option too. Plus, not only did I choose what it said, I had a great variety of fonts to choose from. To me, being able to customize it made it so much more personal. Now I will tell you that putting the customazitions in got frustrating. But this was not on the company, this was on Amazon's end. I went back to see the font numbers & wound up deleting & changing info. Plus there was no way to double check what I put in once it was submitted. Amazon needs to make this easier in their site/app if they want to sell customizable items like this. My poster arrived quickly. Gorgeous, great Quality. Except the year was wrong! I must have changed it when trying to choose the fonts,(seriously Amazon, your customization set up is a pain) I emailed West Clay, freaking out a little because it was now the Friday before Mother's day. Not only were they willing to print a new one with the correct date free of charge, they mailed it with 2 day shipping. They went above and beyond! My mother absolutely loves it. She said it was so unique and thoughtful and beautiful. I told her "This is the way the stars lined up when your life changed forever" (which I think needs to be printed on a small card and sent with these posters)I am so glad that I did not just chose a star map, but a West Clay one. Great Quality. Fair price. Great customization options. And amazing customer service. I know I will be ordering more from them!

Great personal gift idea.
Love, love, love!!!I had one made as a gift, my brother and sister in law loved it, honoring the birth date of their daughter.The delivery time was late, at no fault of their own, rather because of usps & they offered to send a replacement asap at no cost.My experience with West Clay Co. was definitely 2 thumbs up, I will be ordering from them again.

Good gift for significant other
My boyfriend loved it. Hes really into astrology and that it was really nice. My brother hot one for his gf as well. I only had the city and state for my coordinates but my brother had the actual address where they met and his picture of the stars is more detailed. Hope that helps!

Way too little skill involved . Print it off yourself and save 80.00
Son ordered this for his girlfriend without me knowing . I thought it was nice gift until I found out what he paid for it! Sorry , but I could have made this print and bought a frame for a fraction of the price !

Perfect!
Turns out that this was a wonderful gift to my daughter and her husband for Christmas. They love to travel, and this was the night sky of where they got married on that date. Perfect!
