Lightweight
Does the job, great lightweight, very thin sheer like shirt to wear underneath other shirts to wick away sweat and keep you cool.

Snug fitting
Very snug fitting garment cut extra long so there is no way that it will be coming untucked. I’m normally disappointed with how large the small size is of most garments, but even I could probably go up to a medium and it would still be fitting.

Very small according to our eldest but comfortable for his younger brother
This Hanes Perfect Flex Crewneck Tee fit a bit too snugly according to our older son who usually wears a medium in men’s shirts, so our preteen wears it around the house for lounge and sleepwear. Of course, it’s long on him, however it is very well made, with the soft feel that we associate with the Hanes brand. Both of them said that the neck is more comfortable than some of their regular tees. We had a few loose threads after washing the shirt on cold gentle cycle and tumbling dry on low, but the seams and color have remained well done. A small hole was discovered near the bottom front hem, but we have no way of knowing if it was a defect when it’s very likely he unknowingly snagged a hole in it; I just wanted to mention it in case others have this issue and it turns out to be an actual product issue. As it stands, it’s comfortable when it’s not too snug, although I can’t give a star rating to the stretch feature, since it doesn’t actually fit either of our sons, but I do know that it’s a very good shirt for layering.

Lightweight, close fitting, stretchy but not "tight"
I've tried a lot of different undershirt brands - everything from Jockey 100% cotton (Classic Crew), Under Armor Charged Cotton, various 2xist ones, Under Armour Heat Gear, etc..I found these very cool - that was my first impression upon putting it on - they don't trap heat close to your skin, and many cotton shirts, and some synthetics seem to.They are a close fit. For perspective, in a Jockey Cotton Classic Crew, I wear in XL, and in that size, it fits fairly loose - enough so you it might make sense to wear as an "outer" shirt, and not an undershirt. These, also in an XL,fit "close" to the body. Not so far as "tight", but definitely "close".The fabric is quite softly elastic - so while it does fit closely, it's not a compression type of fit, where you'll perceive the shirt squeezing you at all, as, for instance, Under Armor Heat Gear does. They're tagless, which is good. And the collar doesn't sag after several washes and machine dries, or after a long day of wear. They are a long shirt, which I suppose helps them stay tucked. The XL for me comes almost down the bottom hem on a pair of boxer briefs, which was surprising.

Very Thin Fabrication.
Sorry, Hanes. Not a fan of this one.I own loads of Hanes tees, but this one missed the mark. A very thin, almost see-through modal/spandex combo that is definitely only good for base layering. I wouldn't want to wear this alone out in public. Due to the modal being so thin, the addition of 10% spandex - which would normally squeeze you like sausage casing at that percentage - is almost insignificant. The shirt will slightly hug your body, but I would never believe that much spandex was in the mix without checking the tag. Untucked you can see the waistband and belt loops/jogger elastic band bumps of whatever you are wearing underneath. The shirt is also very unstructured due to the flimsy material. Right out of the box the neck band was already stretched and sagging when I put it on the first time. Nowhere near as snug to my neck as the product page photos would lead you to believe. The sleeves were close to my biceps, but not what I would consider "tight" for spandex.Overall if you need a lightweight base that will whisk away a little humidity and have less bulk than some other tees...maybe. This is definitely an UNDERshirt.
