The fibre pots that I've been using for starting seedlings tend to dry out faster than is helpful, or become too soggy and therefore I wanted some plastic pots that I could put the fibre pots into prior to the fibre pots going into the soil. The fibre pots are the smaller, round ones commonly sold in garden centres.From Elixir Gardens I purchased some of these "Terracotta colour" plastic pots in the 6cm size and they are doing the job adequately. Actually the fibre pots and the 6cm pots are about the same size which means the fit is slightly tighter than I'd like; nonetheless they can be used together to avoid the drying-out / excess sogginess problems.The 6cm pot material is thin but not so thin as to be annoyingly fragile or easily broken.All in all the 6cm pots seem fine to me.

These pots are quite robust plastic & deep for longer rooted plants especially if you use a loo roll inner tube & 1/2 fill with earth planted into the earth in the pot.I only have window sills to bring on seeds indoors or under good fleece outside.I did check the size but expected larger.Will double check next time.A good buy.

These are not the best quality. They are injection moulded (not the flimsy thermoform style of pot) but they are not as thick as a Sankey or Stewart plastic pot so they aren't fully rigid. They also are slightly small compared to a standard 2.5". However they are very cheap, arrived quickly and did the job for potting up my auricula offsets. I would purchase again from this supplier.

I am using these to plant seeds between 1 to 4 per pot for allotment and poly tunnel vegy gardening. They work and do the job well. Some comments say they are flimsy! but compared to another well known brand and for the size of pot they compare well. Would I buy them again? Well most certainly I will, they are great value for money and for the use I put them to will give a good service.

Was much thinner than I expected. Holes in bottom far to big. Was disappointed.

Great plant pots from Elixir. There’s not a lot you can write about pots but these are sturdy and good quality (the base holes are just the right size) . I’ve bought half a dozen 3 or 4 times now as my plants develop and I’ve not regretted it at all.

Description suggested you would receive several pots of 'various sizes'. The picture shows 7 pots of various sizes. Instead I received 4 tiny plastic pots. Really inappropriate for the price and not what I was expecting. Looks like the site has been updated to allow some selection now.

These pots were not like the picture, the cuff at the top is really narrow and there are some strange holes as if they are meant to fix on something, there are also not as thick as I was expecting and a couple were broken as they were not that well packed, I just wouldn’t buy them again.
